  2. Episode #19 (Season 2, Episode 7): "The Class S Heroes" Saitama's suddenly so uptight about his fake hair! 11:30 PM Tomorrow night (11/23) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  3. Episode #66 (Season 4, Episode 3): "Boy Meets..." Deku couldn't impress Nighteye with his impression of All Might, so it's on to Plan B! 11 PM Tomorrow night (11/23) ONLY TOONAMI!!
  4. Why the hell wouldn't we!? Hungry for more? Feb 2020!
  5. AWESOME!! Shippuden takes a tiny little break for an hour-long OVA from Lupin! That's only 2 AM my time, still fairly watchable! And this is quite bizarre: I don't even see anything like this in the franchise encyclopedia listing! Is this brand-new 2019 Lupin!? https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=3053
  6. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/jojo-bizarre-adventure-golden-wind/episode-4/.138725 Grade: "A"! "Shadow Sabbath," eh?? Neat twist that the long-range nature means he can only hide in the shadows!
  7. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/black-clover/episode-95/.149877 Rating: 3.5⭐. A good flashback episode that pretty much revealed nothing was as it seems! Oh yeah, and we're still on that Elvish Yuno cliffhanger. Perhaps there is some sort of link between the Elves and the 4-leaf clover grimoires?
  8. Unfortunately, Demon Slayer misses bowling the turkey: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/demon-slayer-kimetsu-no-yaiba/episode-6/.146651 I believe that might just be because the viewer thought some important elements that were revealed in this episode could have been built up to more organically. Rating: 3.5⭐.
  9. Whoops, I KNEW I missed something! And it really is a shame because it wasn't a bad episode, even if it was mostly exposition and setup! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/food-wars-shokugeki-no-soma/episode-19/.91711 Grade: "B". That's actually a little better than One-Punch Man and Fire Force got rated according to ANN this week. Those 2 shows would probably have gotten letter grades of C and C+, respectively.
  10. DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!! "Elizabeth Maxwell as Lisa" https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=21852
  11. Somehow, I'll bet ANN begs to differ! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/fire-force/episode-16/.153116 Rating: 3. Yeah, I'll give you that it was kinda juvenile, but it made ME laugh! Also, the plot twist that Lisa is the enemy seemed to work for me too, and I hope the kid can be saved! This review is actually worth a chuckle as well! [hee haw]
  12. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/dr-stone/episode-13/.151698 Rating: 4.5⭐! A near-perfect episode, and I concur! It's a real shame that there won't be another review for a while, as for some reason ANN have 14, 15, and 16 ALL TOGETHER. So, this won't happen again until December 14th since we've got a marathon of Food Wars on November 30th which pre-empts episode 15 of Dr. Stone!
  13. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/one-punch-man-season-2/episode-6/.146791 Rating: 2.5⭐. Well, that's a little better than last week, but not by much. Again, I feel that might be lowballing it, as the story is hitting all the right chords in its deconstruction of the Hero organization trope, even if it IS meandering a bit.
  14. I am now continuing my list above! Previously, I had counted 15... Interstitial #4: 3 occurrences of the Hot Pockets commercial. [18 total] Food Wars: ZERO! Interstitial #5: Also zero! Demon Slayer: Back to 4! [22 total] Interstitial #6: 4 as well. [26 total] Black Clover: Surprisingly ZERO!! Interstitial #7: ALSO zero! This comes as a bit of a surprise, considering Black Clover is indeed a FUNimation show, but for some reason the commercials ended up during Demon Slayer instead. I have a theory as to why: when the ad time was bought, BC was still at 1:30 AM, and FUNimation was somehow involved in buying up all those add slots in its own shows. Based on that, JoJo should be devoid of them, since Boruto was previously in that timeslot. Shippuden is a toss-up since Gundam used to be there, and Lupin also isn't FUNimation, but I'll bet AOT was full of them. Indeed, I did see a bunch since I actually watched it Saturday night.
  15. Who knows? But we DO know that MHA lost BIGLY from Family Guy, to put it in the words of the Orange Menace... That's not very good. Now I'm not expecting MHA to beat Family Guy anytime soon, but it would be nice if it retained more like 80%, maybe 90% in the 18-34 demographic at times. If not, maybe it needs to drop to 11:30 and for another hot series (needs to be a WORLD premiere or at least a dub premiere) take over at 11 once One-Punch Man ends in early 2020?
  16. The right kind of "hot pocket", that's actually kinda RIGHT...but may cause pregnancy if unprotected!
  17. On to the last normal block next week before the Food Wars! Thanksgiving Weekend marathon!!
  18. This is great, but @elfie, please indicate this is a fanclub thread by tagging it appropriately just in case it gets lost. That is protocol for fanclub threads going forward! On that note...
  19. With the block once again being led-into directly by Family Guy, MHA rebounded this week almost 100K, and most shows followed suit: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-16-2019.html While once again Toonami didn't crack the Top 15 in Adults 18-49, at least all 8 eligible shows made the Top 50 this week. Interestingly enough, women seem to have a lot lower retention during Toonami than men; as M18-49 and M12-34 seem to have stayed almost steady throughout at least the first 3 hours, but F12-34 dropped sharply from My Hero Academia to One Punch Man and never recovered, hitting a nadir during JoJo but rebounding slightly for Lupin. My theory is that those women left to watch SNL and never returned to Toonami, and NBC's jump from a 3 in F18-49 for the rerun to an 8 for the premiere would seem to reflect that.
  20. I've only analyzed a 3rd of last week's lineup so far, but what I'm seeing here is the Hot Pockets commercial tended to be spammed during breaks of FUNIMATION shows! And that was and is almost half the lineup (5/11 shows)! Of course, it will fall to 2/11 in a couple of weeks for the Food Wars marathon...
  21. This is for both this episode and the last: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/my-hero-academia/episodes-64-65/.152479 Rating: 4⭐. Interesting that our reviewer actually preferred the FIRST episode of the pair, though!
  22. The Senku Fanclub!!! He's bringing civilization back--with SCIENCE!!! Tune in to TOONAMI at Midnight Saturdays and watch his Kingdom of Science grow!
  23. The SAITAMA Fan Club!! In this thread, we express our undying admiration for the hero who takes 'em all out in ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!!!
