  1. Like, I don't believe it--that rarely ever happens in this series!
  2. Episode 12: "Buddies Back-To-Back" SCIENCE!!!! [and survival] ONLY TOONAMI!!
  3. Episode #17 (Season 2, Episode 5): The Martial Arts Tournament Centichoro is on the attack!! Save us, Saitama!! 11:30 PM TOMORROW NIGHT (11/9), ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  4. SEASON 4 PREMIERE (Episode #64): "THE SCOOP ON U.A. CLASS 1-A" Let's see what Midoriya and the others have been up to, shall we? Their heroic story continues... 11 PM TOMORROW NIGHT (11/9) ONLY TOONAMI!!! (on cable TV anyway...)
  5. Because it's hilarious! Also, Epstein may not have killed himself, but the Clintons didn't do it either!
  6. When women don't know what "no nut November" is... 😂
  7. Oh shit, I was gonna post this, but you beat me to the punch! Ahh, what the hell--I'll do it anyway, without the asshole conspiracy theory!
  8. On that note, it's not exactly working here... ...or IS it!? #BlueWave2019
  9. Why is this topic still floated?! Dragon Ball Super is off the air, for now at least!
  10. Uhhh, yeah. YOU CAN UN-PIN THIS THREAD NOW!!!! Next week is MHA Season 4!!!
  11. You know, that's a good question! It's quite possible the numbers we're getting for Shippuden, Lupin, and MHA were actually MHA and the Crap Hour that followed Toonami! Shippuden and Lupin would have aired in that "dark" 2nd 2 AM hour instead of their normal 3 AM hour, so that might be what we're actually seeing. In that case, I hope [as] took note of that and doesn't penalize Lupin accordingly. But then again, I think it already WAS penalized when it was moved down to 3:30 AM. I guess if there ever is a Lupin Part 6, maybe it might get the same timeslot that Lupin Part 4 enjoyed throughout its run?
  12. There's both The Forge and MHA Season 4--both have crossover potential with AEW, so I think one or both actually MIGHT get advertised on TNT. I GUESS we'll find out tonight. If the finale of Dragon Ball Super wasn't big enough (but Primal WAS), this might not be either. Then again, The Forge IS technically an [as] original. MHA isn't, so I guess that means The Forge might be more likely to get such an ad?

This is the first time an episode of MHA has gotten below 200K, even at 4 AM! Lupin's been lower--at 12:30 AM! And Shippuden has been lower, but only at 2:30 AM. That 456K for DBS was the lowest peak ever for a TOONAMI block, but the shows in the middle saved it from being worse than the 5th-worst block of 2019. 11/2/19 - Adults 18-49 Show Viewers Retention TOONAMI DBS (R) 260,000 OPM2 230,000 88.46% Dr. Stone 218,000 94.78% FireForce 198,000 90.83% FoodWars! 180,000 90.91% D. Only Demon Slayer and Black Clover gained on last week, and the result was a block that finished with the 3rd-worst ratings of 2019.
  14. UPDATE: "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL down 0.04 to 0.20/456K, ONE-PUNCH MAN down 0.05 to 0.18, DR STONE down 0.02 to 0.17, FIRE FORCE down 0.01 to 0.15, FOOD WARS steady at 0.14, DEMON SLAYER up 0.02 to 0.14/333K, BLACK CLOVER up 0.04 to 0.14/312K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE up 0.01 to 0.12/277K, NARUTO steady at 0.11/243K, LUPIN THE 3RD down 0.02 to 0.08, and MY HERO ACADEMIA down 0.04 to 0.07/162K." EGAD that's low! Both the DBS rerun AND the MHA rerun! I guess my theory that the reruns would follow a similar pattern to the premieres didn't pan out, like at all!! Premieres other than Lupin (which is a shame because it was such a great episode) performed fairly well. Here's hoping MHA S4 can pull the ~500K average they probably expect of it!
  15. This show is airing in Japan at 1:25 AM on Friday nights. It's NOT a show for children! (Yes, we have the better timeslot for once!)
  16. THIS. Recall that Gundam: The Origin at 3 AM usually, but not always, beat Shippuden at 2:30 AM (9 times out of 13) in Adults 18-49. That's most likely because that demographic is the most relevant to have access to DVR. However, it should be noted that this was NOT the case with total viewers; Gundam only beat Shippuden 6 times out of 13, but that still might be statistically significant since Gundam is on later and the trend would be expected to be downward. On average, Shippuden still has the edge, however. ON to THIS week's ratings, and One-Punch Man WAY down. The Forge and MHA S4 can't come in here fast enough! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-2-2019.html At least JoJo made the Top 50 this week after not making it for its debut last week. And Demon Slayer keeping pace with One-Punch Man and Dr. Stone is pretty remarkable. Hopefully the presence of never-before-seen content on the block next week (I'd say "this week", but we've already seen episode 1 of The Forge on Pre-Flight) helps the ratings!!
  17. MOHS Hardness rating. It, like most of the science in this show, is actually a real thing... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohs_scale_of_mineral_hardness
  18. Yeah, it's been a while since it's had a weeknight run. It looks like it's not going anywhere, so maybe that's in the cards for January 2020? It would most likely be as DBS on weeknights at 8, DBZK resuming its 2018-2019 rerun Saturday nights at 8, but I wonder if Primal has opened their eyes to the prospect of a midnight run instead?
  19. I think Part 5 might even get a rerun if they hadn't stuck premieres at 2:30 AM. Unfortunately, there won't be enough time to do that with Part 4 before its rights expire in 2020, which would happen right after Part 5 ends its Toonami run, perhaps even before.
  20. Damn, I did too! I actually made it last year though... ...but it's not this show that screwed me up...
  21. Well, that shoots down that crackpot theory! Hmm, I wonder why August 14th 2020 and April 5th 2022??
  22. Last night on Toonami, the final episode of Dragon Ball Super finally got its encore. The timing is suspicious, as 5 years ago, on November 8, 2014, the first episode of DBZ Kai aired on Toonami. Now, 5 years and a day later, we've finally got a non-movie, non-marathon lineup without a Dragon Ball show! Could it be that all 3 shows (DBZ Kai, DBZ KFC, and DBS), were on the same 5-year deal that was made for the 99-episode original Kai only, and was later amended to include the other two? Is this is really all the Dragon Ball we'll ever see on Toonami or [as]?
  23. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/jojo-bizarre-adventure-golden-wind/episodes-1-2/.138122 Grade: "B+". I think that's lowballing it quite a bit--the Stand Golden Wind and its power is a bit hard to follow and to understand, but I'd still have given this episode at least an "A-".
