  1. HERE WE GO!!! Or, as they say in France... ET C'EST PARTI!
  2. Yeah, that got censored on Toonami...
  3. Is it just me or does that dude with the dopey hair kinda resemble Terrible Tornado?
  4. There was a major overhaul in between TOM 3.5 and TOM 5.0 that was completely unexplained. So TOM 5.0 is actually one of these weird workers on the Vindication, and it's one of these new race's ships... Kinda feel like a bit of red thread of fate here, but I'll go with it! Even if the backstory of TOM is a total coincidence with wherever the hell he just happened to end up post- Absolution, it IS engrossing!!!
  5. BURN BABY BURN!!! 12:30 AM TONIGHT (11/16-17) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  6. Episode #18 Saitama is in a martial arts tournament, but the outside world is in grave danger! Can he win the prize AND save the day? Find out tonight (11/16) at 11:30 PM ON TOONAMI!!!
  7. Episode #22 (EPISODE IV, Part 2): "Answer me Zantetsuken" Stay up late and watch the caper continue at 3:30 AM this Saturday Night (11/16-17) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  8. Page 95: "Reincarnation" How will the Clover Kingdom carry on without their Wizard King? Find out at 2 AM Tomorrow (11/16-17)! Only TOONAMI!!!
  9. Episode #13: "Masked Warrior" He'll be the Dr. If you've got the Stones!! Midnite tomorrow (11/16-17) Only TOONAMI!!!
  10. Episode #65 (Season 4, Episode 2): "Overhaul" So, the last episode was kind of a fun little fillerish side story, so let's get to the main action, shall we?? 11 PM Tomorrow night (11/16) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  11. I think it's pretty clear that they're kissing Sentai's ass right now; the question is "why?" If this eventually gets us Made in Abyss or Ushio & Tora on Toonami, it might be worth it...
  12. Hey, don't blame me--I was hoping for Dr. Stone! At least if we get that one in a full marathon on December 21st or 28th, I'll get a second chance at those episodes that I missed the first time, right? We just had Episode 12, so that would be episodes 6-16. That's what I'm hoping for! Heavy rain screwed up my satellite feed and subsequent DVR recording of the double-header of episodes 6 and 7. Also, now it's pretty clear what they're probably gonna do with the 3:30 slot: 11/16 - Lupin III Part 5 Episode 22 11/23 - Lupin III Part 5 Episode 23 11/30 - Food Wars Episode 19 (part of marathon) 12/7 - Lupin III Part 5 Finale (Episode 24) 12/14 - The Forge Mega-cut Reruns of shorter shows either as part of marathons or not after that. I'm hoping for either gen:LOCK uncut or Gundam: The Origin to take 3:30 AM in January 2020, followed of course by One-Punch Man Season 2. It just makes no sense to acquire new series just to play them at 3:30 AM. Could also give 4 AM back to plain ol' [as] and move AOT there, but I doubt they'll do that.
  13. If not for the fact that they already announced Uzumaki for TOONAMI for next year, I'd be afraid this might be the end for Toonami, as they end it with The Forge and replace it with Adult Swim Action sponsored by Crunchyroll. Same shows, just "Crunchyroll". Seriously though, some of Toonami's themes over the years would be useful in a rave! This whole thing is just weird anyway I slice it. It's like being in a committed relationship for 7+ years, but then giving something you know your S/O lover would love to this girl you just met, when you could have given them EACH one instead. I mean, seriously, WHY NOT the Toonami/Crunchyroll Anime Rave!?! Last but not least, good luck RSVP'ing on the "AdultySwimFgestival" app. Have fun with that one, Caliyforgnia!
  14. Not the Toonami anime rave!? Strange...

  16. Oddly enough, Programming Insider has the primetime ratings available first this week: Bob’s Burgers (repeat) (ADSM, 9:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.470 million viewers (#69) • 0.28 HH (#70) • 0.20 A18-49 (#25) • 0.18 A18-34 (#12) • 0.21 A25-54 (#35) Family Guy (repeat) (ADSM, 9:30 PM, 30 min.) • 0.607 million viewers (#51) • 0.38 HH (#48) • 0.24 A18-49 (#15) • 0.22 A18-34 (#7) • 0.26 A25-54 (#23) Family Guy (repeat) (ADSM, 10:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.654 million viewers (#45) • 0.42 HH (#43) • 0.25 A18-49 (#13) • 0.22 A18-34 (#7) • 0.27 A25-54 (#22) Genndy Tartakovksy Primal (repeat) (ADSM, 10:30 PM, 30 min.) • 0.498 million viewers (#64) • 0.32 HH (#62) • 0.21 A18-49 (#20) • 0.18 A18-34 (#12) • 0.23 A25-54 (#27) Read more: https://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-lsu-alabama-on-cbs-is-highest-rated-college-football-regular-season-game-in-eight-years/ This has interesting implications for My Hero Academia: it means it was 3rd place for the night in 18-34 behind both Family Guy episodes, and gained 0.03 on Primal's 0.18, a 117% increase! Unfortunately, the same was not true for older viewers, as it tumbled a full twentieth (0.05) from 0.23 to 0.18 in 25-54. The 18-49 demographic, which is a blend of those two, accordingly dropped a hundredth. Next week, however, Family Guy is the direct lead-in, and we should have an all-new Forge either right at the beginning or right in the middle of MHA. As I mentioned previously, that should boost the ratings!
  17. That was so close to the end it wouldn't have mattered though! Silly thing to blame, if you ask me! I'm almost shocked that they didn't just leave Family Guy where it is and replace PRIMAL with Rick & Morty Season 4 reruns... http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-10-2019.html
  18. It's a new day, but it still feels old... http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-9-2019.html "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: MY HERO ACADEMIA (in a different timeslot) up 0.13 to 0.20, ONE-PUNCH MAN up 0.01 to 0.19, DR STONE up 0.01 to 0.18, FIRE FORCE up 0.02 to 0.17, FOOD WARS sup 0.02 to 0.16, DEMON SLAYER up 0.03 to 0.17/322K, BLACK CLOVER up 0.01 to 0.15/288K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE up 0.03 to 0.15/293K, NARUTO up 0.04 to 0.15/344K, LUPIN THE 3RD up 0.04 to 0.12, and ATTACK ON TITAN at 0.09/191K." That 344K for Naruto Shippuden puts it in 4th place and beating everything but MHA, OPM, and Dr. Stone, but I'm not quite convinced that it's correct. For one thing, the 18-49's don't surge accordingly. For now, though, I'm going with it, since it's consistent with previous results for it airing at 3 AM. 11/9/2019 - Total Viewers Show Viewers Retention TOONAMI MHAS4 398,000 OPM2 388,000 97.49% Dr. Stone 361,000 93.04% FireForce 335,000 92.80% FoodWars! 324,000 96.72% D. Slayer 322,000 99.38% B. Clover 288,000 89.44% JoJoPt5 293,000 101.74% Shippuden 344,000 117.41% LupinPt5 250,000 72.67% AOTS1 (R) 191,000 76.40% AVERAGE 317,636 40 of 45 Despite the premiere of The Forge being part of MHA, Toonami has its worst start ever without Dragon Ball Super. But I'm not all that surprised, since they DID give this episode of The Forge away during the MomoCon panel (and online on Pre-Flight in fact) so most of the Toonami faithful had already seen it. Next week, it's a never-before-seen episode, plus Family Guy directly leads-in to MHA, so that should also improve the numbers. I was hoping they would try PRIMAL at 4:30 AM after AOT for a late-night mixed-block brutality hour, but at least for now, it seems they're going on with Superjail and Apollo Gauntlet. Plus, AOT is a long show, and the final season doesn't air for like a year, so there's plenty of time for them to do just that.
  19. I remember first watching this, and thinking that the Colossal Titan was important--but never knowing that the other Titan was too! Hey, next episode previews are back! Well, later!!
  20. Now we know what he's been doing in the cellar, to a staggering amount of detail. This is truly being shown in a different light!
  21. Well, this is pretty awkward! It will be interesting to see which one survives!
  22. I guess it's apropos that we're ending this decade with one of the most iconic new shows of the decade!
  23. Oh, we're using this one? Alright then... Episode #01: To You In 2000 Years: The Fall Of Shiganshina, Part 1
  24. BUMP for right now, and starting over with... Episode #01: To You In 2000 Years: The Fall Of Shiganshina, Part 1
