  1. These numbers are pretty sad: "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL at 0.09/211K & 0.08/212K, compared to last week’s 0.10/256K & 0.09/236K, MY HERO ACADEMIA down 0.05 to 0.22, PARANOIA AGENT down 0.02 to 0.17/358K, MOB PSYCHO 100 down 0.01 to 0.16/344K, BLACK CLOVER down 0.04 to 0.12/257K, NARUTO down 0.03 to 0.12/244K, and GEMUSETTO MACHU PICCHU down 0.05 to 0.08/170K." Then again, Toonami didn't do as well as usual 5 years ago, either:
  2. Well we'll see. Dragon Ball Super usually does pretty well, especially in a marathon. It's quite possible 12 AM on July 4 beats 12 AM on June 27th.
  3. This is from last week: My Hero Academia (Adult Swim, 12:00 AM, 30 min.) • 0.521 million viewers [#188] • 0.344 million adults 18-49 • 0.27 A18-49 [#15] • 0.27 A25-54 [#54] • 0.06 A55+ [#754] Paranoia Agent (repeat) (Adult Swim, 12:30 AM, 30 min.) • 0.359 million viewers [#371] • 0.246 million adults 18-49 • 0.19 A18-49 [#58] • 0.19 A25-54 [#109] • 0.04 A55+ [#801] Mob Psycho 100 (repeat) (Adult Swim, 1:00 AM, 30 min.) • 0.315 million viewers [#503] • 0.220 million adults 18-49 • 0.17 A18-49 [#77] • 0.18 A25-54 [#130] • 0.04 A55+ [#855] Black Clover (repeat) (Adult Swim, 1:30 AM, 30 min.) • 0.285 million viewers [#594] • 0.202 million adults 18-49 • 0.16 A18-49 [#94] • 0.16 A25-54 [#165] • 0.03 A55+ [#920] Ballmastrz: 9009 (repeat) (Adult Swim, 2:00 AM, 15 min.) • 0.284 million viewers [#595] • 0.208 million adults 18-49 • 0.16 A18-49 [#91] • 0.16 A25-54 [#176] • 0.02 A55+ [#928] Ballmastrz: 9009 (repeat) (Adult Swim, 2:15 AM, 15 min.) • 0.266 million viewers [#642] • 0.201 million adults 18-49 • 0.16 A18-49 [#97] • 0.15 A25-54 [#204] • 0.02 A55+ [#928] Naruto: Shippuden (repeat) (Adult Swim, 2:30 AM, 30 min.) • 0.256 million viewers [#679] • 0.191 million adults 18-49 • 0.15 A18-49 [#106] • 0.15 A25-54 [#211] • 0.02 A55+ [#967] Read more: https://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-2019-feature-film-ford-v-ferrari-makes-hbo-network-premiere/ And now back to this week: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-6-27-2020.html Well, looks like MHA kinda went out with a bang at #3! Farewell for now, MHA and ShowBuzzDaily Top 150!
  4. LOW HANGING FRUIT: Fire Force Season 2 Return of JoJo Part 5 Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Food Wars Season 3 ON THE HORIZON: Sword Art Online: Alicization - War Of Underworld Part 2 Attack On Titan Final Season Uzumaki AND BEYOND: Blade Runner: Black Lotus MHA Season 5 ???????
  5. It's possible they already shelled out the dough for the 2nd half of War of Underworld, and that's why they seem to be too broke to pick up much else. Hey, the same could be true for Season 2 of Fire Force. If they really ARE that strapped for cash for new titles, it would kinda make logical sense.
  6. Duly noted. Now that I know we're actually on V3, I'll include it in the July 11th thread!
  7. That's why some people were swearing that they saw Ballmastrz scenes in Toonami's latest video, but it was actually MP100. Interestingly enough, JoJo still got some scenes in the video instead! As for Mob, tonight's episode was great! Mob got pushed and lost it, and Ritsu is still in big trouble, but Reigen's scene was hilarious and oddly reminiscent of Food Wars now that we're used to that! Obviously when MP100 first aired in 2018-19, we wouldn't have known to make that connection! And then I'm sheepishly inserting last night's promo right here, just in case some bored schmuck comes along and decides to read this entire thread: EPISODE 009: CLAW: 7TH DIVISION
  8. Tournament of Power takes Midnight starting July 11th. I might not even keep my All Might avatar that I've had since MHA first came to Toonami, but it IS still on [as] at 5:30 AM Weeknights these days! As for my Impressions of this episode, I thought it was very Lynchian, strangely like Mullholland Drive.
  9. It would have to be much longer if it will outlast Shippuden. That show will go on for 198 more episodes, and that would put BC at at least 322. Only Shippuden will continue on Toonami unabated with the exception of marathons for sure. Black Clover MIGHT, but we don't know yet.
  10. Actually, yeah! In Toonami's current sad state I find it almost as intriguing as Black Clover and MHA.
  11. And now that it's over on the West Coast, here's the only review this week. Take heart; there won't even be ONE next week or the week after! (Black Clover reviews will return July 18th) https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/my-hero-academia/episode-88/.158064 Rating: 4 stars. Good season finale, but it could have been better. And it will be interesting to see if Endeavor really IS Quirkless like Mirio now.
  12. The title of this episode is "Terror of the Steam Imp!"
  13. Well, I guess it woke me up in time for Shippuden, so there's that...
  14. Sh!t gonna get REAL tonight!!! Episode 008: "The Older Brother Bows: Destructive Intent!!" 1 AM TONIGHT (6/27-6/28/20), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  15. Yeah, I had the pay service for several months until they discontinued it on April Fool's Day 2014. It was free when it first moved to Hulu, but they lost a lot of their shows so I kinda lost interest in it. Of course, Shippuden was so far ahead I didn't have much interest in it, other than maybe a little of the Five Kage arc, but I had no idea what was going on. Wow, I didn't know it had gone that far! Episode 338? So I guess the first episode to actually be a dub premiere will be 339, which should be coming up in Spring 2021.
  16. Well, it doesn't come out until next week. I am completely BAFFLED as to why Toonami isn't directly replacing MHA with it, but then again even for FUNimation it may be more "delayed" than to be a true "same-day-as-Japan" simuldub. Remember, MHA started out that way, but due to COVID-19 it ended up almost 3 months behind. If I had to guess, I'd say Fire Force Season 2's dub will most likely premiere on July 24th or 25th, and Toonami will begin airing it August 2nd to replace Paranoia Agent. That's probably the major announcement at their con.
  17. You said "American" Cable TV. All 500 episodes have aired in Japan! But yeah, seriously, which channel on American Cable TV actually showed them before Toonami? Must have been a premium, but if so, it was REALLY deep, only available on a select number of rare cable packages.
