Interesting--maybe we really ARE getting a special BC-less Toonami on 10/17?? I'd just double-up Fire Force. That seems like a no-brainer to me! I think Fire Force Season 2 getting stuck at 1:30 AM would suck but it's certainly not out of the question. I think it might actually be wiser for Toonami to give Black Clover a break until 2021. Many of us have been assuming Fire Force would take JoJo's place but I don't think that's a foregone conclusion anymore. SAOAWOU2: Electric Boogaloo is floating out there somewhere in the ether, and it would probably be great to bring in at 12:30 on November 7th, which would replace JoJo (assuming Halloween Ass Class marathon), while Fire Force Season 2 would replace Black Clover until 2021, Demon Slayer would move up to 2 AM (or 2:30 with Shippuden at 2), and a new rerun would begin at 3 on 10/24.

I think it's hilarious that this thread somehow only made it to 2 pages, and about half the posts were just elfie and AF14's back-and-forth pillow talk, but I guess that's also because I actually had the misfortune of crashing before JoJo last night. But I did just watch the episode, and I enjoyed it, though it has to be the one that took bizarre to an all-new level, and I also really liked the shadow aspect of Chariot Requiem, and how Emperor Crimson figured out how to beat him! I don't think it will be stuck at the butt-end for long. I can easily see it moving up to 2 AM when Fire Force inevitably moves up, likely to replace JoJo, for Season 2. Still, boy am I glad this awesome show is getting a rerun! Maybe they'll replace it with Gundam: The Origin reruns at 3 if it DOES move up?? Nah, probably FLCL Progressive.

Come on, [as], just kick out American Dad for one night and play FG at 10 followed by the RTJ special and leave Toonami alone! Or maybe the RTJ special should have been on FRIDAY night? Would that have been so bad? It might have been cool to have a marathon of that and T-Pain's Freaknik special or something!

Of course the show's 2nd "dungeon" foray seemingly went nowhere, despite having some interesting beats!

This author makes some really good points as to how on some level this is kind of a contrived mess, but man that imagery! I would have gone 4 stars at least, because in a series this nonsensical and bizarre I'm willing to buy it all! Man, we've come a long way from that ancient stone mask, haven't we? Only 4 episodes left to go in all of this JOJO series in currently in existence! Although this DOES leave questions as to how Toonami is going to present all this, since Fire Force Season 2 was previously announced for October 24th, but thanks to the Bat-Break, now both JoJo and Fire Force season 1 have an extra episode left to go. Will Toonami expand on October 24th? Will Black Clover take a break on October 17th just so Fire Force can double-up (which is also likely because BC is running out of dubbed episodes)? And what about Ass Class? Will it move back to 1:30 after the break, with Fire Force taking 1? It would certainly be interesting if both Ass Class and BC took a break on October 17th so both JoJo AND Fire Force could be doubled-up for one week only! And with the RTJ special seismically shifting the entire block an hour later, I guess more instabliity in October may not be all that bad.

Yeah, well if that IS the case, not giving Super a break, moving everything up 30 minutes instead of an hour, and making this RTJ special an actual part of Toonami, may be one of his most baffling decisions ever.
