  1. EPISODE 114: Bloodcurdling! The Explosive Birth Of A New Super Warrior!! Kale is JAKKED!!
  2. "Reanimation Jutsu, Release!!" 3 AM TONIGHT (5/8-5/9/21) ONLY TOONAMI!!
  3. The magic continues 2:30 AM 5/8-5/9/21 ONLY TOONAMI!!
  4. Elfie, are you serious? You REALLY believe there's a chance they'll move premieres of a 2021 show down to 3:30 AM!? I get that it was a dumb decision the first time, but come ON man, aren't you smarter than that??
  5. Episode 24: Signs Of Upheaval Fire Force has been a worthy presence on Toonami for years now. But will its story end on a cliffhanger? Find out tonight (5/8-5/9/21) at 2 AM as its flame finally burns out. Only Toonami!!!
  6. Join the kids as they attempt to escape their demon captors. One last time at 1:30 AM tonight (5/8-5/9/21) ONLY TOONAMI!!
  7. Like Naruto Shippuden at 5 AM Tuesdays-Saturdays, sponsored by Emergen-C?
  8. Nah man, only been 10 months and change. But, since those 10 months WERE the worst of the pandemic, or at least the U.S. epidemic (since given the absolute tragedy in India you COULD argue that the pandemic is getting worse), I guess it could be argued that it felt like 2 years.
  9. Boy, that title is more German than AOT! Find out why tonight (5/8-5/9/21) at 1 AM! ONLY TOONAMI!!
  10. It didn't happen with S4, so I AM! S3 WAS the newest season at the time, but it was TWO YEARS OLD. S4 was anywhere from 1-3 months because of the worst of the pandemic. S5 is also a month old, and by far, like AOT which preceded it, the NEWEST show on Toonami. So just chill. MHA won't get buried again, at least not for 16 weeks.
  11. Episode #89 (Season 5, Episode 1): "All Hands On Deck! Class 1-A" The heroes are back!!! 12:30 AM TOMORROW NIGHT (5/8-5/9/21) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  12. Well, apparently Demon Slayer WAS able to get its dub on the streaming giants at some point. A nice compromise would be for the streaming giants to get to air the shows earlier, but for those shows to be loaded with Toonami promos, but that makes too much sense so I doubt we'll see that anytime soon! Oh yeah, today was Tuesday, right? Been a really weird, rainy day. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-5-1-2021.html "On Adult Swim, the primetime FINAL SPACE dropped 0.03 to 0.13, and the late-night line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL down 0.01 to 0.17/317K, ATTACK ON TITAN down 0.02 to 0.15, FOOD WARS down 0.02 to 0.13, PROMISED NEVERLAND down 0.01 to 0.12, FIRE FORCE down 0.02 to 0.11, BLACK CLOVER down 0.04 to 0.09, NARUTO down 0.01 to 0.10, and DEMON SLAYER down 0.02 to 0.08/167K." Black Clover was the Black Sheep of the lineup, landing at #52. At any rate, considering Toonami lost a HUGE chunk of its potential audience in Xfinity's lower subscription tiers, this ain't too shabby!
  13. Ridiculous is fine! People are clamoring for G Gundam to return to this version of Toonami, and it was nuts among the Gundams. At least, from what I hear. I still have yet to behold its awesomeness!
  14. I wouldn't be so sure. With $21 million in its first weekend, and movie tickets averaging around $15, that means about 1.4 million saw the movie in its opening weekend, and that includes both subbed and dubbed showings. Assuming half of each, that translates to 700K going to the dubbed showings, and Demon Slayer peaked at 552K in the ratings on Toonami, just under 80% of that audience. So, it's not THAT far fetched that a large number of dubbed moviegoers first heard of or at least first saw the franchise on Toonami. After all, I'm definitely one of them! The episode that directly led into the movie on 5/2/2020 scored a 398K in the ratings, so that would be over half, assuming they all went to see the movie. But that assumption is probably not exactly valid. Many of Toonami's viewers may be waiting for the digital release. The twist is, of course, that 398K isn't all of Toonami's viewers who had their eyes on Episode 26 prior to the opening weekend either. It's what is estimated through the Nielsen system, but beyond that is the [as] app on PC, iPhone, Android, and other streaming devices like Roku, PlayStation, and Sling. Also, the truth of the matter is that Demon Slayer WAS a dub premiere on Toonami, and even though it aired at stupid-o'-clock, it really is quite serendipitous that it just finished its second airing while the movie is still together. All of this should combine to give Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 a MUCH better treatment on Toonami than Season 1. Season 1 kicked off at 1:30 AM and the 6th show on the lineup, but finished as the 2nd show at 12:30 AM. Nonetheless, it never had topical promos. I expect Season 2 to consistently take the 2nd slot if not the lead behind only a Toonami original, to air even earlier, perhaps at 11:30, and of course to have those topical promos, now that the movie has kicked unprecedented amounts of ass in theaters!
  15. I didn't see any dancing fish! That DID show up in the NEXT show though, oddly enough! Episode 10 - Food Wars! The Third Plate - Anime News Network Grade: C+. Maybe that's why I fell asleep when this episode was on Toonami!
  16. Definitely the best anime movie I've seen in a theater since Gundam NT in 2019. But I also missed out on seeing MHA Heroes Rising (which was almost as successful as Demon Slayer: Mugen Train) in theaters.
  17. Episode 148 - Black Clover - Anime News Network Wow, the reviewer dug the hell out of this atypical arc! She gave this episode 4.5 stars, and added that the story arc may be the season's best!
  18. Well, I suck. I'm gonna have to stream the episode this week to get ready for next week... ...if I'm even watching next week!
  19. Episode 47 - Fire Force - Anime News Network Wow, an episode where the Lucky Lecher Lure actually manages to weave itself into the psychology of the show and not just as a dumb sexist joke! It gets 4 stars from our reviewer. Well, only one episode left of the hot mess that was Fire Force Season 2 next week!
  20. Episode 4 - The Promised Neverland Season 2 - Anime News Network The reviewer gave this one 2.5 stars. Clearly, the quality is beginning to deteriorate, though to be fair I DID enjoy the part where those men were pursuing the children. Seems like it might just be a pale shadow of the gems the manga gave us.
  21. Episode 16 - Attack on Titan The Final Season [2021-03-29] - Anime News Network Only 3 stars? Well, it DID leave us with a lot of burning questions! ...such as LEVI'S FATE!!!
  22. Oh wow, I rewatched this episode a couple weeks ago before going out to see the movie, but I had forgotten they showed Tanjiro's CMOA moment from Episode 19 one last time!
  23. Interesting. I think the plan was for it to play one day only, but due to demand it got expanded! Maybe that's why if it's a FUNimation films showing and not Fathom Events, you should always buy a ticket in advance!
