Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 I came in to eat lunch but damn... I am so glad winter is finally loosening its grip.
Sawdamizer Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Sitting on the beach posting this shit right now homie.
CAC Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Even better to have my window open while I sit inside watching anime and listening to the birds.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 9, 2017 Author Posted April 9, 2017 Sitting on the beach posting this shit right now homie. My BF took a drive to the beach and said it was cold... and he can take cold a lot better than I can
GaiusIuliusCaesar Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 It was rather nice out today. I woke up early, went out and bought a new suit, then I finished raking the leaves in the back yard. Now I just have to finish getting rid of the trash, and do the front yard. There is a pile of old rusted paint buckets that have to be thrown away, so I'm in the process of prying them open so they solidify and can then be thrown out.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 I ended up tuning up and re-gasketing a Mercedes I might end up dragging with me to RI... -_'
Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 how many cars do you have? I sold the project Blazer to my stepdad to keep in Delaware and tow the boat/drive topless with. But I can get this benz for super cheap... which I could either keep as a beater or flip for a nicer Jeep 8)
GaiusIuliusCaesar Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 so just the mustang, and possible a Mercedes? I guess having two functioning vehicles is reasonable, that's our plan. Not sure what car my father is going to get but I am happy with his handmedown ford station wagon. Though I would have preferred the old one that got totaled, it had no blind spot.

Since I was 16 I have always had two vehicles, usually both of them functioning. At one point I had four but one was bought and driven to my friend's house to part out.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 i was sitting in a cubicle all day. I'll be at one of those jobs again soon enough
nameraka Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 I'll be at one of those jobs again soon enough don't do it. your soul will thank you.

The main reason was my mom stopped driving so having two cars wasn't necessary until I got my licence a few years ago, and then we were too broke to afford it. That has only changed recently.
CAC Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 don't do it. your soul will thank you. my soul has died from it already.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 don't do it. your soul will thank you. It would have to be another automotive related place for me to really like it

It always seemed easier for me to have a cheaply purchased truck/SUV and a car/streetbike. if one broke, I could drive the other until I fixed it.

I mean we managed to fit all the materials to build our shed on the roof of our ford but it took several trips.

I liked having trucks but I prefer a midsize SUV and to have a trailer just incase I need to haul anything that won't fit inside.
