Zenigundam Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Well Ghost in the Shell was a boring show, so I'm not surprised!!!!
Misaka Posted April 3, 2017 Author Posted April 3, 2017 To make a live action remake is a horrible idea Mini_Ghost[/member] lupin_bebop[/member] Got you a profit update on the remake
Vamped Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 I'm iffy about both Beauty and the Beast and Ghost in the Shell I might go see 2 for 1 at the drive in ... but I dunno
lupin_bebop Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 No. Making a live action remake was actually a FANTASTIC idea. Making The Major White was NOT so much. They tried to keep it close artistically with shooting and the like, but the character and cadence of The Major just didn't ring true. It came off as tone deaf.

It is worth the money. Disney did a WONDERFUL job with it, forgiving a few of the audio inconsistencies (Lumiere's French accent coming and going on a whim, some vocal pitching issues) and some of the weird CGI FX things that should have been done with practical FX.
