I'm on the way back from watching fire works with family in a small Texas town that apparently spares no expense haha. The fire works went from 9:08 to 9:39 central haha. 

Hopefully I'm past all the dead zones and won't lost internet heh.

Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 traveled coast to coast for the first time this year to celebrate America's 250th anniversary!  It's in Philadelphia today and tomorrow.

Big Boy didn't come to Texas this year, but I've already seen it and gotten good footage several times now, so I'm not too disappointed with that.

I don't play the game so I don't know if there was anything for the 250th anniversary of the country.  I watched the anime a while back and got a kick out of the VAs doing the accents for German and English ship girls haha.

Henshaw's the one that ends the world? Seriously? Gotta say, I'm a little surprised Lex didn't have some kind of failsafe up his sleeve and is such a screwup in this. He's supposed to be smart, and yet somehow he didn't foresee Henshaw turning on him.

I guess Lex's arrogance and overconfidence overtook his intelligence.  Also sometimes geniuses don't have any common sense or "street smarts," but I didn't think Lex was one of those haha.

This clip will never get old though LOL.  This show is definitely not as good as 100 Girlfriends, but it's still pretty funny.

Suprise! It's a boy!

Why was there a random marathon a couple weeks ago, but Toonami ran the regular block tonight?  I can't make sense of their decisions.  I'm glad I always check the schedule every Saturday.

Oh yeah, that's right there was.
That one actually didn't seem to too overly badly timed since I think that was timed to buy an extra week to line up the changes for moving the lineup around to the current schedule a little.

But yeah, same here since I haven't looked back in a long time now I'm definitely a little unsure which holidays they marathon now and which they don't whereas in the past it seemed more obvious, so very much the same here, I'm glad I don't take it for granted and always check the schedule every Saturday nowadays to be safe!

Well I would think there should be a marathon for 4th of July, since fire works don't start until it's dark, and to account for possible travel time back from the fire works.  Also, some people party and shoot off fire works of their own all night.  We had fire works going off around us here and there as we drove back home haha. 

Though that stuff should be ironed out ahead of time.  I was disappointed that when Dan Da Dan ended, it literally got replaced with nothing.  I would've rather had double One Piece back.  I hope we don't have to wait for IGPX to end to get another new show.

All that being said, I'm glad we didn't have another marathon so soon, and got to progress in the shows further.

Same, I'm glad I looked tonight because the only thing that made think it might be normal tonight was the normal "Next Episode" things we got last week, even then while I always check now I still thought there was a good chance it might be a marathon 😂

Oh yeah, kinda surprised we didn't get double One Piece in the meantime until something else new is ready.

Also, that reminds me, hope we don't need to wait too overly long after Mashle season 3 starts simulcasting in January 2027 now that it's been announced.

Yeah.  I'm not sure why nothing and why the buy for time.  Could be a budget thing or nothing Toonami fitting was currently available.  

Yes, good point on that for Mashle.  That show was a lot of fun.  Bleach will be airing properly toward the end of this month so I hope the Toonami airing isn't too far off from that.  Not that I'll wait in Bleach's case of course haha.  I'm also wondering if MHA and Dr. Stone are ever coming back.  I haven't watched those since they were on Toonami.
