SwimOdin Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM I’m a nerd. We probably all are, actually. One of my nerdiest qualities is to obsess about the lore of any fucking thing. What I want to know is, what’s a work of fiction that you ONLY know the lore of? Like, you’ve never actually consumed any of the media (books, shows, games, etc.) but you know the story well. For me, it’s Warhammer 40K. I’ve never read the books, played the games, any of it, but I’ll watch the shit out of an hour long YouTube video talking about The Emperor or some other shit. Quote
André Toulon Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM Claire Obscur Expedition 33, most recently. I wanted to know why everyone was glazing a turn based RPG in 2025. It's interesting, but the gameplay looks mid, so i just delved into the story and what led to these events. Kinda makes you wonder if we're just characters in the forgotten painting of a more powerful being. Probably some others, but not trying to pick my own brain rn. Quote
[classic swim] Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Some shows it’s more probable that I’ll read full character wiki pages instead of settling for watching mediocrity. (Deadwood, Blue Bloods) With games it could range from a PS2 title I’ve never owned + didn’t feel like buying/renting... or the occasional woes like never playing Shenmue because who fucking has or wants a Dreamcast? mthor Posted yesterday at 04:24 PM Posted yesterday at 04:24 PM Five nights at Freddy's. Never played the game, and have no real desire to, but I'll spend all afternoon listening to YouTube videos about theories and timelines. Quote
