Yeah I think the dude that died a year ago was the most well known, Paul  Di’anno something like that. I was never a huge fan of Iron Maiden. My other half is

Paul Di'anno was their singer for their first two albums, but their most well known singer is the still alive Bruce Dickinson.

I can't remember if it was wikipedia or a metal related site where I read this, but a couple or so years ago I read that Bruce Dickinson's real name is Paul Bruce Dickinson and they had him just go by Bruce Dickinson because they had enough of singers named Paul. I don't know how legit the claim is about why he went by Bruce though, because I think he went by "Bruce Bruce" in Samson, the band he was in before he joined Iron Maiden.
