The character designs and action animation were great. I loved the soundtrack for its time as well, very 80s/90s heroic synth (so you'd have to like that sorta thing), slight bit of orchestral. One of my early favorites. It's also got some very Parasyte-style horror (way before Parasyte) in it too with some brief surprisingly graphic horror elements and typical 80s OVA nudity.
