They changed the free trial from 14 days to just letting you play as much as you want but capping you at level 35.

The current cap is 60 I think. You can't do the late game content unless you buy the game and sub.

I actually went ahead and bought Heavensward and got a month of sub. All still there. My guild is still there, too, the one i created and gave away when i left 3 years. One of the first guilds on Siren server.
