Yeah, pretty much the natural evolution of his program, and this iteration of Brainiac's mind games and manipulation was demonstrated so well in such a short time.

Easy to see how an AI like that would go that route and how he'd use Kal-el and Kara. The art style for Brainiac was well done too 1
