Mr. Idea Box Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 For those unaware, here's a list of licenses Dynamite Entertainment has with Warner Bros.: Space Ghost ThunderCats Jonny Quest The Powerpuff Girls The Wizard of Oz The Flintstones We Bare Bears Ben 10 Thundarr the Barbarian Dynomutt and Blue Falcon The Herculoids Captain Planet At this rate, we may very well see a Turbo Teen comic. 1 Quote
Jman Posted July 28, 2024 Author Posted July 28, 2024 (edited) Thundarr is the one I’m most interested in admittedly because he was a staple of their advertising despite no new material, and because the original show was designed by the duo of Alex Toth and Jack Freaking Kirby, the King of Comics himself. That is a pedigree right there. I’m also…pretty sure if the creators didn’t buy the rights back we’d be seeing the SWAT Kats instead of the Herculoids. I wonder how long before a Centurions comic is allowed? Edited July 28, 2024 by Jman Quote

Makes perfect sense to greenlight a SilverHawks comic a year after launching ThunderCats. But making them part of the same world? Fingers crossed for TigerSharks. Quote
Mr. Idea Box Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Update: The Captain Planet comic will make its debut on Earth Day 2025. https://bleedingcool.com/comics/captain-planet-1-by-david-pepose-eman-casallos-from-dynamite-comics/ I never thought I'd say this, but he looks GOOD. Quote
Top Gun Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Not gonna lie he is dummy thicc in one of those cover variants. Quote
Jman Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 Honestly, if it’s half as good as Space Ghost, it will at least be worth a quick read. Space Ghost and Thundercats have both been really good and the Johnny Quest miniseries felt like a return to form. Quote
