They need something given how barren the schedule is.  Man cannot live on Rick and Morty alone.

That’s not gonna help much in this case for now with the 5 episode order, which I think is a good thing depending on how they do it. Plus it’s going to Max first unless I’m misremembering.

I think that’s more trying to stretch a 12 minute premise to 70 minutes.

People had plenty of the same negative things to say about ATHFCMFFT at the time.

Plantasm/Deathfighter however is much less enjoyable now because their excess animation + Elon parody + “story” was pretty alien for ATHF. The first movie had problems but it also didn’t pretend to be something that it wasn’t.

If you just give me something that’s as good as the Aquadonk season but fuck off with your updated animation and trendy attempts then I’ll be solid.

ATHF does not work beyond 11 minutes. And “dude Bezos and/or Elon BAD” parodies are so played out at this point it never stood a chance from conception. A return to 11 minutes should help it get back on track.
