This year is the 30th anniversary of my first trip to Chicago.  Saw a couple of chicks from my class and a fellow trumpet who was a class ahead there, and it didn’t occur to me it’s been that long until one of them mentioned it.

I realized recently I have lived an entire life since becoming an adult

as in I turned 18

So Arkansas beat FIU after losing enough games to not make a bowl, bar an act of God and/or ESPN while Arkansas State is bowl eligible after getting shoved in a locker by Oklahoma in Week 1 just as we all predicted at the start of the season.

Washington beat Oregon again, this time to win the final PAC-12 title. And currently, Michigan is pitching a shutout against Iowa in the B1G title game.

I personally don't have a dog in the fight so let the chaos begin!

I know the playoff committee is not going to leave a SEC team out, but, given that Texas is joining the SEC, and their fans travel just as well as Bama/Georgia fans, and Texas did beat Bama in the season (which should give them the tie breaker in this scenario)

It's just really nice to see Saban's face everytime they're not invited to prom

Honestly I am shocked, SHOCKED, that the process to select a college football playoff, which occurs in the first hour of a FOUR HOUR SHOW, might not have been concerned with whether or not we thought one of three undefeated Power 5 teams was one of the four best teams.

OU recently had a LB decide to forego entering the draft and return... basically the reasoning is his NIL money is more than his projected draft spot

I was working out when the network flipped the game over and the players were on the field with a cart

Assuming the worst, I was immediately thinking "oh shit, I hope it's not a neck or spine injury" and then, much to my joy, I see the player hopped up and start walking off the field on his own

 

That's when I noticed the giant compression band on his arm all zipped up, and then they showed the replay
