SwimOdin Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Dennis is THE BEST sci-fi director since, well honestly I can’t think of a recent contemporary. I’ll be there opening night again, and I don’t do that anymore. 1 Quote

MasqueradeOverture Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 I need to see it again as soon as possible. Total fucking masterpiece. I never got to experience The Empire Strikes Back or The Matrix in theaters, but this feels as significant (if not more-so). To feel a 6-story IMAX theater rumble in some of those scenes -- See it on the biggest screen possible. Allahu Akbar. Free Palestine. Quote
GunStarHero Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Saw it in theaters. Enjoyed it, probably more than the first. We got two of the weird Shai-Hulussy popcorn buckets. Sold one for $80 lol 1 Quote
nameraka Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 (edited) did a much better job of capturing the spirit of the book. love how they used chani. i actually think the movie corrected both the major issue with the first (1984) movie, and to a lesser extent the book itself, which is Paul coming off a bit too heroic. kinda wish i'd seen it in the theater, but it seems i'm allergic to people these days.
