I actually rewatched that trilogy, as well as the three Hobbit movies over Xmas. LoTR has certainly aged well in my opinion. The Hobbit movies are good but I certainly did not like them as much as the first three. 

I really like There and Back Again. I should reread it haha It is funny because I usually am indifferent to fantasy at best, but Tolkien is just that good I guess.

I haven’t seen either trilogy in its entirety in years, though.
