I've been a fan of soccer now for a whole two months, so I speak for all soccer fans everywhere when I say i'm devastated by this news.

Never seen a soccer game but I always loved it when AJ Styles would suddenly hit that wild kick and Don West would scream "PELE! PELE! PELE OUT OF NOWHERE, OH MY GOD PELE!"

Not really a 'futball' fan but the guy was a legend, even outside of the fan base.

I saw a video on Twitter of all his goals with Brazil and on the one hand it seems like Goalkeeping strategy in the 60s was "Put my hands up and hope that stops the shot."

On the other hand, Pele was fast, agile, and absolutely dropping bombs from the free kick spots.
