3ngag3 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 They must be really desperate to erase the stink of Roar from their history. 1 Quote
Daos Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 I'm still pissed they didn't commit to the last real reboot. Quote

The show perfectly fits the streaming demand for action animation, but not so much Cartoon Network. Also they saved all their ideas for the second season like morons. Quote

Yeah but just in general, not giving a show proper finale is one of my major pet peeves. Was it really going to break the bank to let them have an extra season to wrap it up? Did they need that money for Super Milk Chan? I also seem to remember they pulled a timeslot switcherroo which made it kinda hard to find as well. Quote
OwlChemist81 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Yeah, that is true. The first cour was at 8:30 PM on Friday nights. The second cour was like 9:30 AM on Saturday mornings. Some episodes of the second half actually had better ratings when they reaired at 1 AM on Toonami. And yep, they saved all the best ideas for a 2nd season which never actually happened. Quote

Can't keep an old franchise down. This isn't the first time Warner has attempted to reboot ThunderCats as a movie. I remember that old screen test. I'm more than a little bit concerned that this is also the guy who directed Netflix's Death Note movie but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Quote

Godzilla vs. Kong was surprisingly fun, so I'm going to hope he makes something like that. Quote
Daos Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 (edited) Damn, I can't find the movie poster from around 2000 that had the actual actors they were planning on using for the Thundercats live action movie that never got made. I think this was it Edited April 2, 2021 by Daos 1 Quote
