It is written by another old member of the AS Message Boards, Hardcorehunter. It's been running since October 2011 on DA back when Bleach was still on Toonami. It is purely comedic in tone and pokes fun at a ton of tropes from the anime and character quirks. It is also an ecchi, and NSFW for sexual themes and mild language. This will be a thread for discussions regarding the comic. Those who aren't familiar with Bleach won't enjoy as much of it as is possible, and it might offend those who don't like NSFW work. I know it was getting a lot of mentions and reaction images on 4chan, twitter, facebook, and tumblr after the real manga ended. It has also been translated into Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and German that I know of. If we would have made this a few years later then we probably could have gotten some patreon cash lol. Maybe compile all the pages into a large book and selling them elsewhere online or something, and also delete some of the pages from DA to tell people to buy it there? Dunno. I did get ONE porn game test going with a fellow deviant but that was laid to rest. With Bleach having ended in both the anime and manga, there's really not as much popularity in BHTSY than there used to be when it started. And I really want to boost that somehow. DA's gallery has been revamped so that you have endless scrolling, which vastly inconveniences users expecting a smooth load time. I had to set the BHTSY gallery so you see the newest pages first, so if you want to start at the beginning, you'd have to wait a few minutes to load ALL THE CHAPTERS on the page! As well it's online on other non da sites. If we do go into some kind of porn game we just gotta find a fetish and pander to it. Cloud Meadow for example gets $11,579 a month from donations. Back when it was Breeding Season the game was making over $42k a month! Some bad stuff happened between the team and the project was dropped and evolved into Cloud Meadow. Some of the Slave Trainer Games are getting closer to $4k a month though for good ones, and Yandere Sim gets $5k a month. One artist who made a very simple furry game called Rack has just shy of $24k a month on his patreon. I would say that you at least have drawn some better stuff than the guys I have mentioned, especially when you put more time into things. The idea is you make a game and keep improving it with each update. The older update is free for anyone but the newer update is only for people who donate until the next update which will rotate etc. Pretty much Furries pay more than just anime fans, and add any fetish you can think of, give it 3-5 frames of animation and it sells. Look into some of them they are free to download. Most are pretty simplistic for the money they generate. The main thing is don't over complicate mechanics. Breeding Season started out simple enough with two guys working on it. Then it made money so they hired like 3-5 more people. Then work delegation wasn't going well, the one guy who did code became depressed and was pissing through money on non game shit like a piano to write a song for his ex. Then the main artist quit and owned the art assets so it killed the game. Still I think at the end when it was big there was the Main Artist, Animator, a coder that just worked on hud stuff (made sure everything went to the right screen when clicked), a coder that worked on bugs and inserting the animations and characters, two damn writers in something that had little real dialogue. Soundboard guy (guess slapping lunch meat and fisting a jar of peanut butter needs a pro). Really for as small the project was I think they went overboard with staff. Sure it was printing money, but at most to be productive all they needed were the Artist and Animator, and one code guy. For Chapter 11, he's spacing them out for a scene or two and then writing out the next scene every time I completely draw them as I go, since this chapter is exceptionally long. Seriously thinking of a damn name for Orihime's mom took me a few hours alone of research. Then looking up fashion trends, and mannerisms for how the character should act. I read up on the "lost decade" of japan. Pretty much the 80s were a shit show of events that lead to a crash in the 90s for the country. Gangs were a large issue which is why anime was influenced by that being the future like in akira. The Yakuza were actually the ones who brought order, but at the same time it allowed them too much power which also became an influence in 90s anime. The term "nice men with guns" was also coined at the time when speaking of the Yakuza, as the Yankee gangs couldn't really compete with bats and knives. This led to it being safer to stay at home than go out which meant that TV shows were becoming the larger source of media, and anime was among them. We can kinda thank gang violence for the boom of anime in Japan. Still so much research!!! Then people still complain over her not being a clone of Orihime. Damn Inuyasha got away with everyone calling Kagome Kikyo and they looked nothing alike. Apparently the looks were more apparent in the manga, and over time they began to look different signifying that they have changed as people, the anime took the later concepts as their starting model.
