But how will I get money I don't want to be a bartender

I've been lowkey looking but it's like impossible to find something I actually want to do and am qualified for that pays well enough. Well, unless I get a job doing the same thing I am now for another agency. Which I don't want to do.

One person on our team left just after Thanksgiving and another should be leaving soon, too (she interviewed at another place that's doing a background check and all that jazz. No official offer yet but she thinks she's got the job). So the team dynamic I've known and loved for so long is about to change big time.

I mostly just joke abt serviceworking bc it's a better than usual random workplace to try to find that good work family dynamic and i believe that some narakus who I won't mention by name could especially benefit from that xp, idk but imo the money trade-off ain't that bad when the less stressful work and schedule is factored into the real quality of life difference.

Then again I've never had to personally be responsible for $500+ just in rent/housing costs every month and it's a bad time of yr to be reliant on tips

I mean I still like what I do for the most part I'm mostly just venting when I complain about my job. Other than the once every 6-7 weeks on call the schedule is fine. I don't have a set schedule and work pretty much when I want to which is great. I think my work family dynamic is pretty good for the most part. We'll see how it changes once we get whoever is going to replace the people who are leaving.

He actually hates his life choices but is too stubborn and lazy to admit failure.....Sensei Packard has groomed him quite sharply

he's still young enough to do something with his life. but he will probably still be here in 20 years still going on about how working for shit is apparently the apex of life

kinda sad really. for all of my complaining at least  i can say i did something with my life. too bad it doesn't seem like it'll be the same case for him. oh well i suppose

To be fair, now that I think about it....I was actually doing comparable work as him in my late 20s.  Frankly, until I had kids at 27 IDGAF either.

i started working in an office at 23 full time about a week or so after i graduated college. it was only before i graduated college that i was doing retail during the summer or a part time job at the campus during the school year. i still have to deal with idiots occasionally but not the same brand of idiot.
