wacky1980 Posted June 28, 2019 Author Posted June 28, 2019 bump because relevant again. a nasty one just blew across the area. it's calm out now, but we had some high winds and two bouts of hail with this one, plus up to 2" of rain (i'll get an official number when i check the gauge at home). but i got a pic of some mammatus clouds in the aftermath, out behind the bank. always one of my favorite cloud formations. 1

katt_goddess Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Similar to what blew through here yesterday morning although not nearly as cool looking. *cue the theme to Close Encounters of the Third Kind I did get to watch two twisters consider whether or not to touch down right as I was getting ready to bike to work though. The siren guy was probably sleeping. 1
