It's boring these days.

Bring back the days when weather men used cardboard maps, wore gaudy plaid suits and used terminology such as, "gator gusher", "palmetto pounder" and "bugaboo".

No, that was a weather man in Florida, 1978.  Back then, it was quite common for meteorologists to provide comic relief on the nightly news.
