Also that article claims we should know the cast around June.  We should have known earlier but COVID-19.  They used the time to do more pre-production and set construction.

People expected Game of Thrones and got Hercules The Legendary Journeys.  Which...Eh, that was a fun show.

Rumors are circling about the cast (probably set to be revealed during the anniversary week for OP) including Lewis Tan as Zoro and Emily Rudd as Nami.  Rudd is particularly noticeable as both the OP Netflix account and the showrunner are following her.  
 

This is going to be one hell of a debated cast.

Looked the both of them up, and I can see them in those roles.

Filming is set to begin next month but there’s still no official cast announcements.

However, there’s a rumor going around that Cole Sprouse (Jughead in Riverdale) has been cast as Sanji.
