The real punchline is that he's not joking.

I'm just laughing cause I can't imagine someone sucking up puddle water into a syringe and injecting it. Is this something drug addicts actually do?

Unfortunately... yeah.

Some junkies just don't give a fuck, don't know any better, aren't "all together" up there, etc.

Funny story, one time I went over to a guy's house with Goldar, another guy came over while we were there. He got what he needed and ran off, then ran back really quick to ask me if he could pour some of my water (water bottle) into the cap (it was unopened at least). Me and guy chuckled and I said "Sure." So he filled the cap up with water and cracktracked to wherever.

When we were driving away from dude's house me and Goldar were laughing about tweaky. He told me he thought the guy was thirsty and that it was funny that all he wanted was a cap full of water. I had to explain to him what he was up to. Once he connected the dots he still thought it was funny, just slightly more macabre.

No, I've never slammed anything my entire life. I don't like needles. I think what happened was the nurses at the new plasma center either ruptured the vein, or while cleaning a bunch of stuff at work the humidity, sweat, or water could have softened the scab and a bit of something could have gotten in. This theory is based on the fact that it took 5 days to manifest after the plasma donation. Sunday night I noticed that there was a red streak going up my arm from the puncture site and it was tender to the touch. It was late, around midnight, so I called a health hotline and they told me to go to the ER.

Donated plasma probably a hundred times and this the first time this has happened.

But yeah, people will inject dangerous stuff into their bodies.

Look up videos of "krokidil"(sic??) if you want some nightmare fuel. That or videos of jigger extraction. Or both, if you're feeling really brave.

It's looking better now but you can still see where the nurse traced the red area.IMG_20180703_213625.thumb.jpg.049f5b09bd0c539dc7f72c54002703a7.jpg

They gave me an antibiotic drip, and scripts for Bactrim and Keflex.

They also said a little naproxen or ibuprofen wouldn't hurt either
