mochi Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 that was Shadow the Hedgehog's original Design their plan was originally to make him basically look like Sonic, but like a version of Sonic where everything went fucking wrong with his life, so he was darker blue, missing an eye, and a little more ripped then they decided to go full Vegeta and make his Quills stick up and give him pointy eyes, making him basically look nothing like sonic which begs the question of why everyone mistook him for Sonic in SA2, when he's clearly a different color and doesn't even have the same shaped head

With the current design, they might've thought Sonic spiked up his hair to the side so he can commit crimes from a far distance in a dark space.
