mochi
I recently found a few Gay Mangas that I actually like (one was a reccomendation from another board user, one I found by myself) and I've been in higher spirits the month because of it, I figured some of you might wanna read them so I'll list them Shimanami Tasogare: plot: a gay boy is outed by his classmates and is about to kill himself before a mysterious woman stops him and tells him to come by her cafe, since other gay people hang out there, he then meets and befriends some older wiser LGBT people and gains self confidence, bonus points for this series Author being Non-Binary(I.e. they're actually a member of the community they're writing about) and Go for it, Nakamura!: Plot: a shy highschool boy who has fallen in love with his classmate Hirose is trying to make His crush notice him, probably also one of the few mangas I've read that actually reffers to it's main character as actually being Gay (though he backpedals and says he's Bi in issue 6 but then goes back to saying he's Gay by issue 7) if you have any to add I'd love to see them Edited January 16, 2018 by mochi
Top Gun
Not exactly my genre, but I've seen a lot of praise for My Brother's Husband. It's by an author mostly known for bara porn, but it's apparently a really heartfelt story about a Canadian man meeting his deceased Japanese husband's family. Yeah I keep meaning to read that one especially since it's getting a TV adaption soon though the assholes on tumblr are boycotting it because Tagame's Porn work is "icky" to them ( never mind that Go for it Nakamura's author also only draws porn outside of GNK and she's not even a gay man ) Edited January 16, 2018 by mochi
Gina Szanboti
I've heard good things about "What Did You Eat Yesterday?" by Fumi Yoshinaga (Antique Bakery). It's about a gay lawyer who's pretty closeted living with his openly gay lover, and his main way of showing his love that he has trouble expressing in words (because of all the things he's constantly stressing over) is to cook good food for him. Lots of actual, good recipes included! It's pretty long (11 volumes as of now - I'm not sure if it's complete yet or not), but there's a lot of character growth and changes if you're patient. E.g., by Vol. 10 he's confronting his unaccepting parents where he's completely incapable of doing so in Vol. 1 (ok, so it took him 30 years, better late than never. ;)). I've not read it myself yet, but as I said, reviews are positive, and I love Yoshinaga's artwork. mochi
found another that just based on the desctiption sounds like it might be decent "negative kun to positive kun" (Mr. negative and Mr. positive) plot: follows the every day lives of an "opposites attract" gay couple named Shin and Jun
ben0119
I gave you some gay manga and anime recommendations a long time ago, but I don't remember what they were now, or if I made a note of them or if you did. If it was on the ASMB that info may be lost. But they did seem promising from what I remember.

I don't recall what they were but I must have not agree'd for whatever reason (if they were mainstream shonen series like One Punch man or One Piece that would be why, as I personally find both shows to actually be homophobic even though I like the latter as a show outside of it's gay characters)
EyeOfPain
It's not about gay men, but My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness was very good, and extremely relatable even if you're not a woman.

Don't know where I heard about them from. I'll control+f through my docs later and see if I can't find anything. I think you did the usual thing where you made excuses how it's not good enough blahblahblah. Oh look this one just popped back into my head. https://myanimelist.net/manga/41973/Bokura_no_Hentai Edited January 18, 2018 by ben0119

Seven seas is also the company releasing Go For it Nakamura! guess they're trying to become the go-to source for Gay manga
