SwimModSponges Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Scales from 1-10 make things easier, but if you really want to be specific, use a scale that goes fro 1-100. But if youre doing that, dont rate in increments of 10, because you may as well just reduce the fraction. And if youre reducing anyways, reduce fully. No point in rating something at 75/100 if you can just say 3/4.
Phillies Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 You say that and you ain't getting any puss puss later.
Hornshire Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 For the most part, We stick with the out of 10, but will go an extra decimal point, so that's basically the same. Reducing messes with framing for Us. We feel like 3 out of 5 is kinda good but 6 out of 10 is kinda not so good. We know it's the same value, but We always perceive it differently, so actually We tend to avoid rating things at that if We can. Occasionally, We'll rate things on non-numeric scales... like "on a scale of puddle to ocean, that was a pond" But Our favorite scale is Starwars. Even though it's practicality is only a 3/8 (dropping to a 1/8 if someone disagrees on which one is better, or even down to a 2/8 if they don't even know the movies)
