Toonami/Adult Swim paranoia through the years

1998 - 2004 - Everything is going to be edited to hell!  We can’t air anything good because it will chopped into bloody ribbons and then Standards and Practices will say the blood is strawberry jelly.

2005 - 2012 - Adult Swim hates anime!  No network would willingly air Moribito!  The only reason they don’t cancel it outright is Bleach and they won’t get anything else because programmers hate blood and boobs!

2012 - 2013 - Toonami is poor!  We can’t afford anything good!  That’s why we got Casshern Shits!

2014 - Present - Netflix is taking everything good and airing it uncensored!  DeMarco can’t compete with huge companies sinking hundreds of millions of dollars into licenses and making their own shows!

Imagine what we’ll complain about tomorrow.
