And her love interest shows an attraction towards her magical guy form? But her best friend (her love interest’s sister) turns out to be in love with her and later also becomes a magical crossdressing guy to save her life."

I actually hate the idea of this anime and wish someone would make an ACTUAL gay anime

I don't know, they made it pretty explicit that the best friend is definitely gay, so probably not going to be evasive to the subject.

The girl best friend is in love with her. So, she's canonically gay.

And it appears the author has done more normal shonen-ai stuff albeit not well known, so who knows?

I designed several OC's for a story like what I described then proceeded to never do anything with them due to a mix of finding making ongoing comics to be too hard to focus on without the aid of an art tablet (I don't use a tablet for my porn art but it doesn't really feel like drawing without the aid of one and it's not as fun)

and not having that much of an idea of an actual story to use them in

the fact that she's written Shonen-ai makes me worry more since most female shonen-ai authors are creeps who view gay men as sex objects and not people

 

that said I just took offense to the title because the most memorable time someone used my name in a thread title was because they were attempting to trollbait me by insinuating I was going to end up like the gay Anne Frank after Trump's election
