Zenigundam Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Vigilantism doesn't even work nowadays because you would get caught within a day or two through forensic analysis that didn't exist before, plus the original captured the crime-ridden atmosphere of NYC in the 70s. Also, Bruce Willis doesn't have the charisma of Charles Bronson and would need a hairpiece to look like him, plus he's just weird.
Zenigundam Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 No, why would I watch a ripoff of better movies and series that came before it?
Bouvre Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Though lots of popular forensic science is tenuous at best, and worthless if you aren't in any database/have a record. Though I do agree it'll likely be bad. Edited December 10, 2017 by Bouvre
DragonSinger Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 This is one series that a female vigilante would be the only way to make it work today. And you can still make it brutal as fuck without relying on rape of loved ones or herself as a plot device. You've got plenty of ripped from the headlines inspiration like the Affluenza case or hell, targeting cops who got away with murder in addition to regular criminals if you want extra shock value.
tsar4 Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Did you just use charisma and Charles Bronson in the same sentence? 1
