Dog has figured out his flea meds aren't really treats

Even then he separated and spit it out the first time

i get the kind you can crush up and put them in some moist dog food. he usually doesn't notice.

Yeah mine usually he just wolves them down

But this time he started smelling them and was like something is not right here

have you tried putting them in something that's strong smelling? 

my dog will eat anything if it has liverwurst in it, for example.

LAWL! Yeah, I have to put pills in liverwurst for my dogs to take them.

It already smells like a treat

We did the ham it's just annoying cause we usually just feed them to him no problem

Accidentally got the peanut pill pockets when he was on different meds which he hated so I'm guessing that is why he got suspicious

Thought they were chickens cause of the color read after smelling the strong of peanut butter and him spitting it out over and over again

I use to put the pills in peanut butter for my old roommates dog

the damn thing figured it out and would lick up all the peanut butter and somehow dodge the pill

I mold a small piece of bread around a pill, and then either wrap it with meat or dip it in something with meat juice. My dog rarely lets it sit or chew on it long enough to become suspicious.
