PurgatoryGirl
Does anyone here in their 30's or older remember the talking doll, Cricket? This was a really popular doll growing up, during the mid-80's. A cousin had this doll years ago. I wanted Cricket but never got her. Looking back, I can see why. Cricket was creepy. Her eyes always moved, while talking and she was a doll, that never shut up. I can't remember if I shared this on Lithium or not. Watching this video years ago was creepy yet hilarious at the same time. In this video, Cricket keeps talking. I'm amazed the doll was still working, when this guy filmed this YouTube video. DragonSinger
I've seen worse, but it would still have a date with matches and gasoline.

I think I would've been scared of her after a while.
Ginguy
I don't remember that thing, but I can remember suburban housewives fighting over cabbage patch kids.
PurgatoryGirl
I still have my talking Cabbage Patch Kid. What's interesting is that a lot of these dolls were made before the debut of Child's Play. Most of us assumed that Chucky was based on the My Buddy and Kid Sister dolls. In actuality, Child's Play was based on the talking Cabbage Patch Kids from the late '80s.
