One of the best premises for a video game based anime. And I really enjoyed the action and characters from the first season. I'm deffinitely going to watch this one. That and GATE are basically my top two picks for shows that would be perfect fits for Toonami. I hope they keep releasing more Overlord, it's one of the few series in recent years where I feel the writing/story/characters are really well developed. Daos Posted April 15, 2018 Author Share Posted April 15, 2018 A lot of people complained because S2 had tons of worldbuilding and focus on non Nazerick characters and less Ainz roflpwning everyone. But I thought it was all great. Even characters like Entoma really shine when they get screen time. I would be happy if they just kept churning out seasons until it's completed.
