It aired during I believe Episode 2 of the Michiko & Hatchin marathon. Now Music Videos this big COULD air at 11:15 in a future marathon, not to mention Countdown!

Except Countdown might air at 11:30 or midnight due to [adult swim] losing an hour of programming. ::]::

 

But I'd be all for notable (prog or not) music acts airing videos during Toonami, even if they wouldn't get much press attention for doing so.

Actually, we have been oddly vacant in the animated music video broadcasts.  They also haven't gotten a lot of guests from anime dub productions on interviews like they used to, like Alex Von David.

they used up all their music video money back then they were showing music videos every weekend during Naruto as an apology for making us have to sit through Naruto ::]::

I was kind of annoyed that they kept dumping these high-profile videos during marathon weekends, because there's no way I was going to bother recording several hours just to snag a 4-minute video.

Well guess what. We got a new one this week, and guess where: during Naruto Shippuden.

 

Ok, ok, it was stop-motion animation, but close enough.

 

Oh, BTW, THIS also happened at some point: a newer live version of the song in the OP video.

(But of course not on Toonami)

The only Gilmour solo album I really dig is A Momentary Lapse Of Reason.

That isn't solo; it featured 2 other members of Pink Floyd! It was technically a Pink Floyd album! That was also the case for 1994's Division Bell and 2014's Endless River.

 

As opposed to Rattle That Lock, which was, like On An Island, Gilmour solo.
