Well, we don't know how long the dub was ready. Toonami had to make space for the show after all. I think SAO II got here even faster. Still fast compared to other dubs though. That's good. Speaking of dubs that should not take that long in this day and age. Not sure I'm interested in KonoSuba. Re:Zero is the one that's supposed to be worth checking out, from what I have heard, and from diverse sources.

No one is going to watch Toonami stuff by itself and many viewers would probably get annoyed if it were attached to episode videos. The best they could probably get by with is having a branded Toonami collection, but not sure what the point would be. Demarco has mentioned that a Warner Over-the-top Service is coming. Again it would be the same conundrum having Toonami there. And as I have talked about before, everyone starting their own streaming service misses the point and defeats the purpose of things like Netflix and Hulu. That being their massive selection and libraries. I'm not going to sign up for something just to watch one show. You'd also eventually be nickel and diming yourself back up to a full cable bill if you signed up for enough of them. Cable and satellite companies are not doing themselves any favors with their refusal to change their business model and pricing, though. The current situation with streaming may be the closest we get to a la carte model if cable and satellite never do it.

It seems obvious before this that even if Frieza was at full power, he wouldn't stand a chance against Super Saiyan Goku. Of course, Frieza is still extremely dangerous and should've just been put down as quickly as possible once Goku had the upper hand. At the end, Goku even gives Frieza some of his own energy, granting him mercy, thinking he might change or at least crawl off somewhere, but he attacks Goku so Goku has to take him out. Really what it is, is Goku is merciful, sometimes because he wants a chance to fight them again, or a naive notion they might change their ways, or both, and in a lot of cases to people who do not deserve it. But what makes even less sense is Goku straight up killed fools when he was a kid, and as far as I'm aware there's never any explanation given for this character change. But to be fair, all the other characters chew out Goku for this behavior. I watched through that Heaven's Arena stuff. Don't know which episode I stopped on. Was around the time the show finally got around to explaining how its fighting system works long after I stopped caring, in an extremely boring and uninteresting way, and Gon and Killua chopping people in the back. I don't really recall anyone calling Gon's actions into question. Mostly people just talked about how special and awesome he is.

I watched up through Heaven's Tower or whatever it's called. And you shouldn't need that many episodes to explain things. On the first episode of most shows you instantly understand their world, with of course more than can be elaborated and expanded upon later. That worldview is why I sometimes question if human psychology works different in that world or maybe Togashi doesn't just understand how people work.

Here's my post on the episode itself - For all the light novel readers that were extolling the virtues of this arc, saying this is the best arc of SAO, or the people that even went so far as to say that this is the ONLY good arc of SAO, I wonder they have to say about this. I really want to know if the ABEC versions of Oberon, Raios, and Humbert look this creepy, or if it's something made worse by the anime's character designer. Why do they have to look so fucking creepy? The way their eyes and their faces are, it's just... GAH. What really sucks about this is we can't really just write this off like we did with Fairy Dance and pretend the whole arc never happened, like with Bleach's Bount Arc. Ep 13 - Of course Rath knows what Quinella is doing. How could they not? They want the people of this world to suffer, that they will rebel against the Axiom Church and surely they will be forced to kill each other in the process. I'm not sure the point of having an invasion from the Land of Darkness will serve though. So, I wonder if the unethical dev, if that was just his personality, or he put on an act so the world would turn out this way. And if it's all just monsters that live there, who was it that the Integrity Knight killed that Alice ended up trespassing over? Dumb bitch got rid of the guardian dragons. So, the naked girl in the OP is Quinella. She seems drawn differently there though, or maybe it's my imagination. Regained the beauty of her late teens? Maybe it would have been better if you at least said early twenties??? Cardinal, is the Sub, Quinella is the Main. "I will correct the errors of this woman." Heh. Ep 12 - Interesting that Alice expected they might break out. So, this guy has definitely had his memories altered, and possibly Alice as well. But they almost saved him! So, I have to wonder if Kikuoka knew about the unethical developer, and wanted him to act that way so there would be those kind of people in the world, ones who might eventually break the Taboo Index. Or was he rogue? Ok so how did Kikuoka not notice Quinella's shenanigans? Surely what she was doing must have been of interest to him? Then again she is trying to create order, not disrupt it. And Cardinal did say that maybe Quinella was able to access the command list with help from the outside. Hunting and murder forbidden. Not because murder is wrong, but because Quinella doesn't want anyone to reach her level. You level up with every kill. And somehow Raios knew if he beheaded Eugeo it would raise his level.
