I don't know if I would call it a universal backlash. Maybe a vocal backlash magnified by the internet, which we see with things quite often. I know at one point he had said he never even saw it before. InuYasha and Bleach were long-runners with some fan service but I don't know if they match Fairy Tail. EPISODE 5 DISCUSSION Last time on Sword Art Online: Alicization, Kirito and Eugeo were able to defeat the goblins, but when during the fight, to save Kirito, Eugeo took a mortal wound. Selka was able to treat it using a sacred art to transfer life force from she and Kirito to Eugeo. After recovering, Eugeo and Kirito were able to wield the Blue Rose Sword, and finally chopped down the Gigas Cedar. Kirito gave Eugeo some swordsmanship lessons, as well. Eugeo chose his new Calling as Swordsman. Now they are finally getting out of Rulid and on to Centoria, to find Alice. There was a long black screen, followed by a lots of commercials and local affiliate spots, then this fucking horse show starts playing, with the screen randomly cutting to black. It's called Heartland, apparently? I've never even heard of it. What the flying horse fuck is going on?! Should I call the cable company and bitch? Looking at Twitter, it looks like I'm not alone. Edit - If this horseshit continues, I'm going to miss Charmed, too. Edit 2 - And now at 45 minutes into the episode it finally switches to Supergirl. But at that point in the episode, not the beginning. So I guess I'll have to watch this on the CW website tomorrow. Annoying. Might be time to call the glue factory. I never did like horses that much. Look at what happened to Christopher Reeve. Or heck, anybody seen Gone with the Wind? At least I shouldn't miss Charmed.
