    Something that just popped into my head is maybe they are making Boruto a spoiled unappreciative brat intentionally. Maybe his behavior isn't supposed to be justified. But that doesn't make a for a likable protagonist. Maybe to teach the target audience to not be that way? Eeehhhhh? I may be giving too much credit to the writer, though.

    EPISODE 3 DISCUSSION Last time time on Sword Art Online: Alicization, after his attack by Johnny Black, last survivor of the Aincrad player killer guild Laughing Coffin, and the other half of Death Gun, Kirito found himself waking up in a world indistinguishable from the real world, populated by people seemingly too real to not be real. He met and befriended Eugeo the wood cutter, who introduced him to the town and found him a place to stay at the local church. Memory madness. The two don't remember their past together as children, as we now hear a version of the story from Eugeo where only he and Alice went to the ice cave. As expected, Eugeo did not take Alice's being taken away well, but feels she must still be alive. Kirito settles in and tries to figure things out. Where will things go from here?     I'm hoping that it's a joke. It HAD to be, right? If not, then WTF indeed. By the way, the last Alicization episode that aired was a recap. And they even recapped that scene. Not sure what they were thinking. Maybe the episode was made too far ahead of time for them to change it, but really, they shouldn't have shown that again regardless. Hopefully Toonami doesn't air the recap episode, not just because it's a pointless recap episode, but because we don't need to see that rape scene twice.
