    Hahaha. The lore of this show doesn't make sense! I thought the doc said "IF YOU DIE IN THE ROBOT YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE," but then that happened, and she's still alive, and they're saying "just because it doesn't hurt you doesn't mean it doesn't affect you." Ok.

Ok, the fact that you can delete memories or adjust things like confidence or aggression is silly enough, but the fact the doc let's them access that?!

    Woo I made it back! So I only missed Super live. We went to a great pizza place called "Home Slice," no joke. They had the flat pizza, and Sicilian pizza's dough, sauce, and cheese had a unique flavor. Good stuff! Probably better than the slop that will be served up on Food Wars tonight. My cousin had just gotten a retro-styled moped in that 1950s turquoise color and she was driving it around the block with her friend. Good times.

    Cho doesn't really fit the character description that Netflix gave, lol. He doesn't strike me as cool or badass in the least. Who is writing this? I don't know if her ethnicity was ever clear. She legit looks Ishvalen lol. Or they don't have her play Ed true to the character if she even can act. The way Ed behaves is very... specific. It will be hard to get it right and come off well.

    You're using anti-SJW vocabulary which is making me question your credibility, and where you're coming from on this. The current Star Wars is just fine. Lucasfilm is not hurting financially. And Disney doesn't make story decisions. People are fine to create any characters they want. And the Star Wars characters are new so there's no race bending involved. Finn's character wasn't even specifically black and was actually white in concept art. It was said John Boyega nailed the audition. When Kelly Marie Tran auditioned for Rose, Rian Johnson said he felt the role was written for her. Not sure if that character was specified Asian or not, but I don't know why that would matter. I would rather the casting be more accurate to the characters in Bebop, because I don't like pre-established characters being changed like that, but if the actors can pull it off, it should still be good.

    We're celebrating my Aunt and her youngest daughter's birthday together today (they're close together,) so I might miss the beginning of Toonami if I don't back get back home before 10 Central tonight. We'll see.

    I don't know why it never occurred to me that Uzumaki means spiral. It's there in the Uzumaki clan symbol and the Leaf symbol, and the Rasengan. https://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+25001 For the character's name, he chose "Naruto", in reference to a ramen topping called kamaboko, which is a sliced stick with a pink whirlpool-like design in the middle. The reason why he chose this name was because Ramen was the character's favorite food in the series. The character's surname "Uzumaki" is a pun on "spiral" (渦巻), while "Uzumaki" refers to a three-dimensional spiral, like a whirlpool or vortex. A more accurate translation for spiral would be "Rasen". The series is seen to make frequent references to spirals.

I thought they were just showing like a little promo to give an idea of what they're making, what they're adapting. But after what Demarco said...     Here is a behind the scenes featurette Demarco linked to on his Twitter. Everyone seems happy about the show. Still don't get the black and white thing that they are leaning hard into. Since it says "ONLY TOONAMI," when are the Japanese going to get this show?

If Demarco thinks viewers won't watch shows that are and/or look "too old" (and he's right, look at Lupin, which he got anyway,) does he really think people will watch a show in black and white? After all, there's people that refuse to watch black and white movies just because they're in black and white. And just because the manga is in black and white, doesn't mean you make the show in black and white. Most manga is in black and white. In fact, Uzumaki's manga volume covers are in color - There's even color spreads - So it's not like "this world is supposed to be in black and white." Oh, Demarco.

    Black Clover Page 85 Discussion Last time on Black Clover, the Royal Knight Selection Tournament came to a close. Rill and Yuno faced off head to head, while their teammates fought each other separately. Yuno went right to Rill and his crystal. Yuno used an ability to merge with Bell and use her energy for a transformation/super-form of sorts. In his zeal to fight against Yuno, Rill didn't notice that he released too much energy too close to his crystal and ended up destroying it. Yuno's team ended up winning. But, afterwards, the Wizard King even team members that lost would be considered for Royal Knight positions. Langris will be investigated after he is healed. The Wizard King revealed he knew and fought alongside Zora's father, Zara, and extended an invitation to join the Magic Knights, but Zora seemingly turned it down. Learn the next developments tonight, on Black Clover, on Toonami!

    I'm trying to remember if one of the shows may have come on before or after Rave Master, and possibly early in the morning, because I had to set up the VCR to record that, since I ain't no fricken morning person, lol. Wiki says Rave Master came on regular afternoon Toonami, Miguzi, and some Sunday morning Miguzi block, but I don't remember ever watching it on Miguzi. Maybe it is .hack that I am thinking of coming on early in the morning. I still think that first Zoids show or another one may have came on before or after Rave Master, but I could be wrong on that. That's really weird. Why were they not able to air the last 4 episodes with the others for so long? That's a good promo at least, heh.

Yeah, the one with the white tiger and the cute girl with floating hair thingies is the one I remember. Like I said I don't remember it being that amazing or anything lol. I don't remember those other ones just looking at what you've posted, so maybe I didn't see those.

    I remember telling my friend how shitty the official Michael Bay forum was back in the day. He said how the GameFAQs forums are even worse and how everyone acts like the Nelson admin from Bay's forum who I couldn't stand, all full of themselves, basically. And that was... what? When was the first Transformers movie being made? 06-07? So the GameFAQs forums are still shit, then! I don't know why you'd bother going there!

    That was a show I watched in between other shows lol. I remember having the Technozoids toys and was annoyed none of the ones my brother and I had were in the show, and that they had shortened it to just "Zoids." These are the ones I remember us having - But I don't remember what happened to them. T__T And of course they're expensive now. T___T But yeah, these ones were way cooler than any of the Zoids in that show! And what do you mean first one?
