  1. Oh fuck, that was Dinah. Scared Hange, really?! DAMN IT EREN SPEAK UP! LOL HANGE.
  2. Poor Mikasa. Love letter?! Why did Ymir go with them anyway? She wanted to marry Historia? Historia is seeing the paths?
  3. Good that they're writing this down. Eren has 8 years to live and Armin has 13... damn. Mikasa not taking this well of course. If they die without passing it the power on, someone else will be born with it? And there's "paths?" Okay this is just straight up fucking magic now. So much for the whole "realistic scientific giant" thing. Attack Titan! I was thinking it was like a well-rounded titan.
  4. So the ocean covers 70% of this world too. Just imagine never knowing that or that it even exists. Too bad there's nothing but horribleness on the other side. EREN Krueger
  5. I wonder if the author had this reveal planned from the start. I've heard that there has been subtle foreshadowing for things for a while now. At least now we know there's just 9 uber Titans, so a ton more can't keep coming out of the woodwork. That Founding Titan's power is still bullshit though lmao.
  6. Even if the Marlian account of history is true (it most likely isn't,) they talked about how the Eldians supressed and genocided people... but it's okay for them to do it to the Eldians. LOGIC!
  7. They look nothing alike, Mochi. @PokeNirvash Mochi is right about as often as a broken clock, and even then maybe not that much.
  8. Who gives a fuck. If people want to whack off they can watch actual hentai. And it will probably have better writing than this show.
  9. You trying to make Amuro even more annoying?
  10. We'll see how things continue on Gundam Ghibli tomorrow at 3AM!
  11. It's too bad, I thought she was kinda cute before I heard her voice.
  12. That's mostly when I post, so I don't miss things going on in the shows. I've had my attention divided and influenced into seeing things incorrectly before, like the time someone said that the old guy was smiling when Casshern was going on his rampage, and since I wasn't fully paying attention to the show, I heard this person say that and totally thought I saw that too. But this wasn't the case at all. I believe my furniture situation had changed after we moved such that I could more easily post during the block. Don't think I was running between rooms between breaks before but can't remember for sure, lol. But, when it became easier for me to post during the block, I did post during the shows for a time, until that happened. Then I went back to just posting during the commercials mostly.
  13. They did not plan on this, obviously, but rerunning that Attack on Titan episode is actually perfect timing. I mentioned before that the uber reveal mega infodump would almost require a re-watching, and now we don't have to go watch it on our own and can just re-watch it together on the block! Can discuss and ask questions among each other too, about the information we learned. Will be good just to watch and go over it all again.
  14. They need to get a few predictable shows if they want to keep the block on the air. More of stuff like this and less albatrosses like Gundam. Still, Gundam and Lupin were predictable, even if they won't be big hits for the block. Food Wars wasn't predictable but is terrible and is doing terrible. Ideally they would shy away from their fandom obsessions that do the block no favors, get some "predictable shows" to keep the lights on, and get some unpredictable but good, sleeper hits, like Michiko & Hatchin. Too bad they wasted two slots on Food Wars and Gundam. It's too bad they didn't mirror it in America, haha. There were short jokes for Hitsugaya in Bleach, and he had the same Japanese voice actor as Edward Elric, but I have no idea if that was intentional. Surely the mangakas couldn't plan this out, not knowing that their shows would get animes or who their characters' VAs would be? And what's this, it's a Funimation show? I don't know if Dallas Reid can or would work for other studios or not, but since both are Funimation he could definitely do it. Maybe things aren't so bad with them and Toonami after all. There's not many checks elfie's ass can cash.
  15. They didn't change the name of Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, or postpone it. Really nothing similar to 9/11 about that movie besides the name, though. It's fantasy setting, plus the towers look nothing like the World Trade Center and don't even stand near each other.
  16. They could do that in Japan too, as far as that goes.
  17. This show and its manga is pretty big, actually, so Toonami actually did a good one getting a hyped show for once. But yeah... with what just happened... Dr. Stone, there was also the shows you suggested before, and others that escape me at the moment. And it doesn't have to be a show from this season. And please not Danmachi. Can't stand that show, at least from what I saw of the first few episodes in Japanese. Too tryhard with the cutesie stuff, dull as hell, and Hestia is annoying as fuck. There's really not much to it, either. It's hard to be as bad or worse than Food Wars. It also has the same author as Soul Eater. Then again an author of a proven series doing another one is no guarantee of a show being enjoyable for the fans of their previous series, but given that knowledge and recommendations, I'm apt to give it the benefit of the doubt.
  18. I was just discussing this with someone on the boards a week or two ago, that was recommending the show and I was thinking of checking it out. How it's from the Soul Eater creator and is pretty good. I had also seen a Youtuber I'm subscribed to uploaded the ED and I liked how the character in the thumbnail looked. I didn't realize it was actually about fire fighters. I wonder if that's a topic difficult to keep interesting in a shonen. I will be curious to see. Instead of Chicago Fire, we have Tokyo Fire, eh? The fact that Fire Force was negotiated down to the wire is... not a good sign. They should have plans and plan Bs, Cs, and Ds well ahead of time. They know when shows are ending. Yet they constantly get caught unawares with their pants down? And given the show isn't coming til next week and couldn't come this week, it most likely is not one of the four mystery shows announced at that convention, unless there was a snafu in the negotiations and they somehow recovered them just now. I have a feeling Demarco is no Roger Smith, though. There was also a tweet from Toonami Squad that claimed they have INSIDE SOURCES close to Williams Street that say Toonami is reportedly planning to premiere a new show, but plans could change. Is Toonami Squad the Dave Meltzer of Toonami news? And, ah, yeah, the fire at Kyoto Animation. Terrible timing for this. There's only 3 episodes in in Japan, (and 3 was postponed?) so this would be a great near-to-Japan release otherwise, but that is going to be problematic. I suppose we'll have to wait and see what happens. Did they say if the anime was going to postponed more than just that one week? And I really hope there's not any arsonists in the series, at least not early on.
  19. Yeah, I was wondering how the block was shrinking and there was no replacement for SAO, but Fire Force is premiering. I saw the Fire Force announcement before I came to the boards, so reading this thread after that was confusing.
  20. They're going to need Fire Force to put out all those bridges Demarco burned.
