I saw that second Fire Force trailer. Looks pretty epic! And the animation quite finished! I'd say it's safe to say season 2 is arriving on schedule!

I saw they are up to 126 on Funimation Now, and in that tweet they announced 127 is going up tomorrow. I don't know if there will be marathons for all those days, as Toonami has scaled back marathons (though now they may have to have more again,) but yeah, we may get lucky and Black Clover may not have to take any breaks, or only a one or two brief ones!

I don't care about ratings so long as they are good enough to keep the show or block I like on the air. If something I like isn't very popular, it doesn't matter to me. But, you can easily see, given its cultural influence and how JoJo stuff, quotes, references, memes, are everywhere, that it is popular, regardless of Toonami ratings. It is probably what Angel said though, as far as why no reruns. Toonami likely doesn't have it in the contract. Why else would they go to Ballmasters?

I just re-watched 119-122. A few things I noticed/confirmed. Yuno did in fact lose the elf markings and ears. He doesn't have the spirit of Licht and Tetya's unborn son in him anymore. It is easy to miss since Yuno is only shown I think once when he loses the elf looks, and once more looking normal. I don't know if he lost any of the upgrades from the elf powers or not. I do think it's odd Yuno didn't show up to help Asta at the trial, or even shown with the other Golden Dawn members hearing about the trial. I saw no indication that Julius set up the trial. Only that he knew it was inevitable, and set things up to get Asta out of it. Also, the braclet is only a tracker and not a killswitch of any kind.

So is this a recap episode, or are we seeing stuff about the past we didn't know before?

I must have totally missed it was a kill switch and not just a tracker. Asta maybe, but Nero doesn't have a devil inside her does she? She just got the horns from using the forbidden magic.

I somehow did not catch that at all. I don't think it's a kill switch. It's just a tracker. Eeehh, I got some vibes early on that there was something off about the Wizard King and that maybe he could be evil but after a while I became fully convinced he's a nice guy who is just kind of quirky and a magic geek. It's not a way to exercise authority. Wizard King came up with what he could to get Asta out of trouble. I never watched or read Game of Thrones.

Man this show moves way too fast and is way too whacked out to follow.
