  1. So, Tom, what you're saying, is the only thing we have to fear about Coronavirus is fear itself. Wait. Anyway I guess it must not be that big a deal or that deadly since the CDC doesn't seem to be making a big deal out of it. https://www.businessinsider.com/corona-new-ad-coronavirus-outbreak-2020-2?amp This isn't it though lmao. LMAO they deleted the tweet!
  2. And now League of Villains have the drug. So it's still going to be out there, even if it's not the Yakuza using it. Crap.
  3. Why would cutting Overhaul's hands off get rid of his quirk? And now he's breaking out in hives?! So did to him what happened to All Might and All for One.
  4. Oh good that that asshole's plan got shut down. What is this ethical and honorable Yakuza shit? Aren't there the assholes who shake down old people for protection money? The League of Villains seemed pretty sure of this outcome. Sand would turn into glass...
  5. LOL Night Eye is going to survive being impaled through the chest?! How is even alive now?! Wolverine super-recovery is not one of his powers!
  6. Well, Sally, our female Mayuri Kurotsuchi, or a more depraved and unethical Hange, went from dead, to undead, and back in the harem! Hmm yeah I really don't know why people like her lol. Let's see, who is someone more pleasant in the group in the mobile bull base right now? Though not in the harem. Ah, there we go.
  7. Fun fact: The Spider-head demons from InuYasha were originally just human heads with legs, instead of humanoid demons with spider heads, in the manga. They were similar to those spider demon minions that appeared last episode. I'd imagine Sunrise possibly thought this was too graphic to show in the anime, not sure.
  8. Yeah I pretty much avoid anything to do with any "chan" sites like the plague.
  9. I didn't say it was a JoJo reference, just what it made me think of. And the idea of Hinako being a serial killer with a hand fetish is pretty funny. But she did comment on their hands both times. I don't know what you mean by "/ll/ thing."
  10. Lots of characters are constantly killed in this show. Especially this arc. I just assume it means that they aren't immune to being added to the body count. In GGO - But this girl though -
  11. Lawl, you made those two threads? I lost track of time messing with trains and didn't get back in here fast enough, then my slow-ass computer doomed me. But I wasn't sure anyone would be so raring to make threads, either. Oh well. Congrats! I don't need to make any threads now lol. Here is the promo video for this episode - And here is a pic -
  12. I never got the impression that the villagers had never heard music before, just that they never heard a song this great before and were really moved by it. When we first saw Kohaku, I just assumed she was someone else who had broken free from the stone, and had been living on her own for a while. I never imagined she was from some village. When we learned that she came from a village, I figured the village was the result of a population of people being freed from the stone a few hundred years ago. It would explain the village's existence, and the relative recency in time explains why they couldn't use anything leftover from civilization to continue it, and why the village was only this advanced now. I also never really thought this was the only village like this. They did have a rule about outsiders, and how could there be any outsiders if there were no other humans? Buuuut it turns out this village are descended from astronauts from the International Space Station, and apparently this is the only human settlement in existence on the Earth at this point. So why there is a concept of outsiders, much less a rule for them, I don't know. The big thing I don't get, is the only thing affected by the petrification were humans and swallows. All the buildings, infrastructure, technology, etc still existed. Sure, they could not save everything, but why couldn't the founders preserve and make use of enough of it to continue civilization, if not where it left off, at least someplace better than this village when Senku found it? And even if things did have to reset to the state of the very first human villages, with even little to no physical remains of civilization, they had the knowledge to build and do stuff. They had the Hundred Tales, even, but didn't do anything with that. But, even with the founders somehow being unable or unwilling to make any technology, and the Hundred Tales info being hoarded and/or not acted on, people would have and should have advanced some things on their own. Granted, the vast majority of human history was really primitive, was slow to advance at first, and early advances took longer than more recent ones, but still. And yes, the population should be much larger than 100 or few hundred or whatever this village is, by now.
  13. For Inuyasha himself, I think they really wanted to put over the thing of him being a rebellious hooligan. But Sango, Miroku, and pretty much everyone else speak in a more formal way of the era. In this show, it is the future, so who knows what all slang could have survived until then.
  14. Man, @OwlChemist81 you must have hit like on this post right as I was reading through the thread and clicked to see who liked the post. It said you and DangerMouse had liked the post, but it only showed one like, and I was like what the fuck. Then I saw for yours it said "just now." I then refreshed the page it showed 2 likes. What are the chances?!
  15. To be fair, we don't know that she's lesbian. Uh, nevermind, I just checked the SAO wiki and she definitely is. I don't know if this got cut from the anime or will be shown later, but this is her backstory, assuming the wiki is accurate - Annoyingly, the wiki page for this episode is mostly blank, so I can't check for changes from the light novels to see if this backstory was supposed to be shown here or not. I would have to dig for a review somewhere that talks about anime and light novel differences.
  16. ...she was saved by another woman, and then cut the giant berserker in half.
  17. Somebody urged me to watch that show too a while back on the old boards. I watched like the first 3-5 episodes and could not get into it at all. It just felt like a big ball of nothing. Hestia is annoying as fuck. And the cutesy stuff like Bell and Hestia brushing their teeth during the OP gets on my nerves. But I dunno, maybe I would have enjoyed it more if the reason for me watching it didn't spring from an argument over SAO, and if it was in English at the time. But yeah I dunno. Other thing is, I do not like harem series at all and avoid them if I can, and I could never stand Tenchi from the very beginning. The characters on the show are annoying as fuck, and it made me question Tenchi's sexuality that he never fucks any of these girls he lives with.
  18. Norman getting shipped. Damn. I still want to know if he's actually dead or not.
