Well that is kind of what I said in my post. If Kubo knew he was feeling bad health-wise, why did he waste so much time dragging some things out and showing repetitive scenes and then other important stuff got short-changed? I really don't know. But hopefully they will make things better in the anime and flesh out some things better.

But this is different. It's an adaptation. A lot of people don't read the manga or light novels, etc. for shows. And it looks like the mods agree with me.

I realize you're probably joking, but there's no need for filler since the manga is already over. There absolutely should be some added canon material, though, in collaboration with Kubo, to fix some issues with the ending and later portions of the arc, however.

Probably due to his poor health at the time. Though it makes me wonder why he dragged some things out so much when he felt like shit, which ended up forcing him to rush things and other things were just not shown entirely. Though, it looks like the impression that Kubo was blacklisted was not correct after all.

I had hoped for a long time the Bleach anime would return but wasn't counting on it. I hope the anime can fix some things with the manga that were rushed and other stuff just plain not shown. This certainly should NOT be a 100% faithful gospel adaptation. There were some things in the past that filled in the blanks of some events, like Ashido that Kubo wanted to include, some stuff during the Yammy fight and showing how Aizen beat all the Soul Reapers. In the manga, it just cuts to the next page and they are all falling. So there is some hope for that. Never did get around to reading Burn the Witch, but it sounded fun. Since it is a one shot I guess it is getting serialised to have more material for the anime. But is Kubo still doing it? He was in pretty rough shape health-wise by the time Bleach ended, and though he's had a break, he's older now. Maybe this manga will be more of a collaboration with Kubo and others. But, looks like Kubo is still in the good graces of the manga and anime industry after all! And it's great to have some GOOD news for once!

This is animation not a live production. Is it really considered large gathering of people? And yes there are plenty of shows already in the can that Toonami could air.

And this is one time the filler writers didn't buck Kishimoto's trend by giving the girl screen time and having them get screen time and be competent as they sometime do. lol. Well this girl was just some random minor filler side character and the episode was about Guy and Kakashi, so probably doesn't really count. But I just thought it was funny how Guy said that to her. It was almost meta lmao.

Well we know how strong that shark guy was in the Akatsuki. There's no reason for them to be all at equal strength. Plus Zabuza was an exile or something right? Maybe his abilities stagnated.

Is it really necessary to have a flashback within the filler episode? Lol that is Todd Haberkorn as young Guy.

Maybe Zabuza was the weakest member or something.

Apparently this episode is lucky season 13 episode 13.
