    I thought maybe because these would be legendary people in their history. This would be like the Founding Fathers returned to modern day America. Actually something just occurred to me, Kirito and Asuna were here the whole last two hundred years. So from their point of view Kirito and Asuna only just left and are now back. But I guess Alice and Eugeo would be important figures in the world's history?

    Suguha's mother has appeared before but this is the first time we ever saw the dad lmao. I think it was said he was working overseas? Also these are Suguha's parents but they are technically Kirito's aunt and uncle. What happened to his real parents and why did he have to live with cousin, aunt, and uncle? Did they die in a car accident or am I thinking of someone else?
