Yeah but we still don't know if the history of the Eldian people is real. I'm more inclined to believe it's bullshit. Either way, you can't justify oppression because of what someone's ancestors did.

So what is Eren actually up to anyway? Either way, there's several Marleyan airships here. I don't see how Eren or any other Eldians get out of this.

So Jean thinks there is more than meets the eye with Eren's behavior huh? Maybe @DangerMouse was onto something after all, heh. So wait, I thought only Zeke and Eren knew about the euthanasization plan. But these other idiots did too and are going along with it?!

I've been watching Toonami and Adult Swim Action for years, no reason for me to stop unless they cancel it completely or go full reruns. Of course it is the last of its kind, anime on regular TV that isn't something like Pokemon or Beyblade. As it is, there were probably quite a few shows I never would have watched if they hadn't aired them on TV. That is the thing with streaming. You tend know what you want to watch already and then go seek it out on wherever and whatever way you can watch it. With TV, you may end up watching something out of your comfort zone and end up finding a gem. Say you stumble upon something or see a promo for something. And with Toonami, and my completionist rule, I'll watch whatever they put on. I may not like everything they air, but I'll end up watching stuff that I end up loving that I may have never watched otherwise. And I think it is still a way to bring in new anime fans and new fans of shows, so it still has its value. And of course there is the community aspect. Which you can't get with streaming unless you are staying current with a new release series. A lot of people won't want to discuss a show they've already seen, and either way, you can't join a discussion before you finish a series or you run into spoilers. It's an experience that really can't be replicated.

Odd title. I just thought of something. What about Anko? Is she still laying there in the cave?

I finally remembered to watch the first 10 minutes of episode 73 that I missed. Man, Eren has turned into a real dick, huh? I knew he was no good after he slicked his hair back! I saw the Demon Slayer movie Monday and was blown away. Definitely some unexpected stuff happened, and it is NOT optional viewing or a "self-contained side story." If you can, you're going to want to see this in theaters. It's worth it. I was fully vaccinated when I went and I bought my tickets from a reserved seating Cinemark theater, and picked the one with the fewest amount of seats bought up. For whatever reason there were only like 3 people at this particular location and showtime, people mostly going to other locations. And it even if there were more people, it is set up so that when you buy a seat or group is seats, it blocks out the seats around them, and there is plenty of room between the rows. And today, I ate at my favorite local Mexican restaurant. There were still very people eating inside, on a Saturday night, mind you. So, baby steps. But it will be nice to gradually go back to somewhat life as usual. And speaking of trains, next week, I'm going to try to go back to that museum I'm a member of. They're having a model T show and running their steam engine on the same day!

I wasn't disappointed. In fact, it went above my expectations. Of course, it would depend on how much you already like the series to begin with.
-
I bought it off Cinemark's own website. The costs to maintain a website can't be anywhere near what it is to pay all those employees at all their theaters. And as I said before, it would be no cheaper for me no matter when I went. No matinee discount, AND it was slightly more expensive than any other movie.

I still don't understand why killing him wouldn't stop the jutsu, so this fuckery had to happen. Oh well.

It was a great movie, and people were definitely right that it's worth seeing in the theater, and as soon as you can. I'm glad I didn't wait or settle for a small screen viewing. Besides, I've been fully vaccinated as of the 22nd. The 7th was my second Moderna shot. And when you buy tickets from Cinemark at these reserved seating theaters, they block out the seats on either side of the seat or group of seats you buy, and there's plenty of room in between the rows. What's more, at this theater and showtime (4 o'clock) there were only like 2 or 3 other people there. For whatever reason people were mostly going to the two other locations. People were also definitely right that the movie is not optional viewing if you're going to want to keep up with the story going forward. A LOT happened. If you guys get the chance and can see the movie safely, do so. Don't depend on DEMARCO. Although something that I didn't like was the ticket cost. Cinemark charged more for this than any other movie. And it wasn't any cheaper if you went to a matinee. It was 13.25! Every other movie was $11.25, and $7 for a matinee. Is that the Aniplex tax?! Then Cinemark charged me a $1.75 online ticket fee! What is that crap?! They don't have to pay anyone to take my tickets if I buy them online. If anything online bought tickets should cost LESS. The only way to avoid that fee is to go to the theater ahead of time, which defeats the purpose, and you'd probably pay more in gas at that point! After the tax and all was done my ticket cost $16.23!
