    So is this backstory of Joy canon to the games or made up for the anime? This was never brought up in Shenmue II. Maybe it is revealed in Shenmue III? It seems like it has be canon either way, because it explains why everyone in Hong Kong is scared of Joy, no one will lay a hand on her (except these Yellow Head pricks.)
