I've been waiting a long time for this, wasn't sure if it was going to happen, but better later than never. I've already seen this subbed and dubbed, but I'm still going to watch it with everyone here. Really hyped. 😁

I had assumed those 2 characters were 20 somethings, not teenagers, but apparently I was wrong. Maybe it is a coincidence, but who knows. I honestly can't say the story for this series is too gripping for me. 😄

Yeah, it was the whole school thing and how light-hearted, silly, and well, generic, it got after that. Funny enough, the the school setting of MHA was considered a detriment to it by many people when that series first started, but that show ultimately did get darker, though may have gotten bogged down in some ways. That is true. It's really weird how that whole first Blue Exorcist season happened. The anime adapts what is barely the set up to the world and introduction of characters (maybe some could say it took too long to do this) and before the show can get off its feet, it's into filler divirgence. Yeah there was a long gap in the original production release, but at least we got the first season replayed here, so it's fresh in our minds.

Well, at the time the show was being promoted, it came off like this was going to be like the anime version of Spawn. The main villain is the literal Devil, so it doesn't get much more badass than that, right? And it started out that way, then we find out it's just yet another show about a fucking school lmao. I don't know, maybe the original Toonami promos made it seem darker and more badass than it actually was haha. Then the filler started it and made it even more silly. Now here for this season 2 teaser, we see the bad guys are trying to revive some ancient big bad (who isn't the Devil apparently.) Doesn't exactly sound earth shattering, but again, it's better than turning The Devil into a Twilight character. 😄

I could remember most of the Bleach characters names and existences. They were pretty distinctive in their character designs and gimmicks, personalities etc. One Piece probably overtook Bleach in character count though. I can remember most of those too. It probably helps that most of the One Piece characters are contained to their own homelands and the arcs that take place there. I do think it is funny though and I think it has happened in both, where characters showed up and neither Ichigo or Luffy remembered their names. 😄 I have no idea how anyone could remember all the names of characters from bland shows like Assassination Classroom, though. Also, the replacement Yoruichi VA only had like one episode and a few lines before Wendee Lee got placed back in the role, thankfully. Supposedly this was a mistake by Viz, but I have no idea how they could make a mistake like that when they already had Wendee Lee reprise her other characters before Yoruichi returned. Oh well, all's well that ends well.

So they made it even worse than Skinner. 😄

Oh OK, so Viz did put out English versions for some of the trailers, but not all of them. I'm glad fans were in the clutch to fill in gaps for the trailers.

Yes, there are some sound alikes, particularly for JYB with the guy who played Soul from Soul Eater (a show inspired by Bleach that was referred to as Bleach Lite, ironically,) and the guy who played Food Wars' Soma, but I'm glad it didn't come to that. Seems like pretty much everyone who is still active is back. Too bad about Akon, Shinji, and Hiyori though. Though Hiyori already had like 3 different voices. 😄
