So now "Taka" is joining forces with The Akatsuki to... destroy the Leaf. Ok. You know, it sure looks like Sasuke ran out of things to do in the story after defeating Orochimaru and Itachi, hence these asspulls with Itachi and Sasuke and having him join up with the Akatsuki to do this... whatever it is they're doing. Is this really happening? Sasuke and his henchmen are fighting a Boondocks character. Eight swords? This guy puts Zoro to shame! Tailed Beast mode still looks stupid as fuck. Oh hey we almost saw who "Madara" was last week. Misukage? Sasuke has a new Sharingan now. ...Why? Do Uchihas get new eye powers after they recover from near death? They're like Saiyans! BLEH! I still haven't caught up with JoJo! Got caught up with Kai and One Piece. Yeah, I'm still messed up from seeing Rogue One a third time some weeks ago and missing most of Toonami that night, and then being too tired to watch past Super last week or whenever it was. Then today I got preoccupied messing around with my Youtube channel, and I watched NXT Takeover, hence why I was only able to catch up with 2 shows. BUT, I'll definitely be caught up after tomorrow for next week! So, as this episode records, I suppose I can catch up with another show. *sigh*

Videl must be one of the few "civilian" characters in this world that isn't a moron. Everyone else seems to be clueless and have short term memory loss. They forgot all about what Goku and co. did in the World Martial Arts Tournament, against King Piccolo, etc, and blindly believe Hercule when he says the super-powered characters feats ARE JUST A TRICK. Still think this whole thing of Kais as "creators" and Beerus as a "destroyer" is bullshit. The Kais never created anything. They were just... "guardians", and most of the time they don't even get involved. There's also plenty of natural phenomenon and jerks like Frieza around to cause "destruction." Besides, Beerus is just a dick that randomly and arbitrarily blows shit up that pisses him off. Doesn't really seem like "a God bestowing judgment on that which is to be destroyed," to me.

Why are Pilaf, Shu, and Mai children? And why/how do they have a Dragon Radar? Trunks and Goten are two little scamps. Dragonballs look nice, all semi-transparent, with this new art style. Nice to have 18's original voice back. Dragon Fish are a real fish... they're awesome. I've had a couple in my tank before.

J.J. said that the inclusiveness includes people of different sexual orientations, opening the possibility of there being a gay character in episode 8. And there are gay characters in the new canon books/comics apparently. Of course, those aren't as high profile. Then again on second thought all indications show Luke as being straight up til now, with possibly going Jedi Celibate as of Return of the Jedi. Maybe it would also be better to simply introduce a new character and have them be gay. That way it doesn't look like you are radically changing a character for sjw brownie points, for the sake of doing it, etc. Could also be an issue if Lucas always envisioned the character as straight. We don't want a repeat of the Sulu incident. So yeah, a new, gay character would probably be the best way to go about it. I've also heard people say that sexuality isn't imortant in the SW universe and that the only ones we know it for are the ones who continue the Skywalker bloodline. This is true to an extent, but Lando clearly showed interest in Leia, and Finn showed interest in Rey. Either way, they're going to have to find a way to address this - Rey's lineage. I doubt it would sit well with the fans if Rey's parents are simply two rando deadbeats that marooned her on Jakku, regardless of original intention. Rey's parents are going to have to be somebody, her father likely being Luke. Otherwise, the only Skywalker of the new generation in the current trilogy is the evil Kylo Ren. Not sure how that's gonna fly.
